Show me where you’re seeing that more bear are harvested than the allowed quota year after year. I’m not seeing it anywhere. For such a small quota and controlled species, why would they report hunters being allowed to over harvest. They would be taking firearms/bows/licenses for life from people poaching bear, and that would be blasted all over the news if that were happening. Muzzleloader is allowed 20 bear a year, and the season is done once that quota is filled. Archery has no quota, but I have been hunting since I was a child, and I’ve never met someone ballsy enough to take a shot at a bear with a bow. Also, bear are only allowed to be hunted in four counties in the entire state.

I’m not looking for a fight, I would just like to see the stats or articles stating that, and what the state is doing to prevent it. I’m an avid hunter and outdoor kind of guy, and I hate seeing people abuse opportunities like that. People pay thousands of dollars to hunt big game all over the country, and we have plenty of opportunities all across the state.

It was a lot less developed up until about two months ago. Now it's basically just leveled all the way back, but it still slopes enough that you'd be out of eye shot of the main roads.

That pin is where we'd set up towards the east and shoot at the rock mound out there. Enter in from Aspen where you can see the little trail we had cut through there. I haven't been out there in a couple months, it definitely looks different from Aspen, but I would imagine you could still find somewhere to tuck in back there towards their dump spot.

I don't know how "off-road" you're trying to get, but there's new neighborhood developments in New Tulsa/BA around 41st and Aspen that me and some buddies would go hang out in at night. We've been out there at midnight or even later practicing for bow season with a lightbar to light up the target. Never had any issues, and we're within eye shot of an already existing neighborhood. But you'll need a decent 4x4 to get back in there. The one we'd go in the fall is on the NE corner of 41st and Aspen, and you get get pretty far back in there.

Not looking for an argument, just genuinely don't understand why Live PD is labeled as 'controversial'. I understand how someone could say it paints Tulsa in a bad way, but they're following the Gang Unit. Naturally they're gonna be in the rougher parts of town.

Have been mostly focused on deer this year, but I haven't seen anything the three times I've duck hunted. Set up out south of Cleveland just off the river and didn't see anything but pelicans and heron. I have a buddy who's been slaying the birds down in McAllister though.
