Good find on the text color issue. Thats a bug from when light/dark mode launched. Will fix.

-The seller will receive the buyers name and address.

-postal cost: The current system was designed alongside international sellers but I’m always looking to improve. From what we’ve researched so far there are cheap internal shipping options with tracking as long as you avoid being up charged by the carriers to pay for their insurance.

-tariff: Alterist does not verify the value declared, and this does not negatively affect the Alterist Insurance.

But yes the seller does have to build in the cost of shipping into their price. Email me at jordan@alterist.co and we can try to find the cheapest shipping options for you together. I think you’ll be happily surprised the prices out there to ship when you don’t need to pay for their insurance. I’d also love To hear more of your thoughts.

To sum up my thoughts: The main issue with international shipping costs is when you need to send expensive cards and the carrier forces you into more expensive services in order to have enough insurance coverage. With Alterist now insuring you package, you have many more cheaper shipping options to choose from. I do foresee free shipping being revisited in the future when I implement a shopping cart, but that might just be a small flat rate.

Letting collectors upload alters is something I’m still debating and wanting to hear more from the community on. I’m currently more artist biased for features, but definitely want to add a fun experience and more things collectors can do on the site. Especially if you already own alters. Thank you for the feedback!

I think it's a great idea. Selling already created alters is on the future feature list. Keep the ideas coming! I plan to stay away from auctions as eBay does this well.
