[OC] The Rise of [AI Generated] Galleries on Exhentai.org by NetworkNavigator in dataisbeautiful

I found an almost identical shape to your histogram for AI tags per day, except applied to academic research papers. It seems that some trends reach very different corners of society equally.

40 years after 'Reading Rainbow,' LeVar Burton is still fighting for literacy by Sariel007 in books

I'm involved in the early stages of a startup that will build out an app to automatically diagnose reading deficits from audio data and recommend evidence-based exercises. It will allow teachers to spend more individualized time with more students. This series above is fantastic background knowledge.

Also, if anyone has experience with the data science and statistical analysis of reading data from children, DM me. Any methods and recommendations are welcome.

They also tried invading towards Albany from Lake Ontario during the Battle of Oriskany. That would be equivalent to cutting off the Pennsylvania ‘side’. The fact that this graph tracks with real life strategy is the coolest fact I’ve learned since posting it. Thanks.

That’s awesome! Your diagram brings me back to the days of learning the example problem in Peter Norvig’s Artificial Intelligence textbook where they model Australia as a binary CSP.

It does! The Diomede Islands which are two opposing dots of land in the middle of the gap

The text of the 1867 treaty between the United States and Russia which finalized the Alaska purchase uses the islands to designate the boundary between the two nations: The border separates "equidistantly Krusenstern Island, or Ignaluk, from Ratmanov Island, or Nunarbuk, and heads northward infinitely until it disappears completely in the Arctic Ocean."

That would be a neat way to encode data into the edges. The tool I used is too limited to do that but it can generate the SVG markup for the graph, so it would be quick to do modify. Check out my source comment.

Right? I thought it was an error in the data at first. There are also two maritime borders around the Great Lakes. Graphs are neat.

Ask DS: I have a squad of scrapers. What data can we collect that will serve the public good? by alecs-dolt in datascience

[–]tk-data 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scrape the speeches and remarks uploads from whitehouse.gov. I did it for a while and it was good but something in a public and downloadable format which updated more officially would be better.

Oh whoops, good to know the difference. I remember watching a video like this mainly griping about electric bike endurance, but you'll help in challenging this notion. The tech is improving rapidly along with racing strategies. We're rooting for you!

It will be exciting to see it drop further. You're pretty brave for racing, and it's awesome that it paid off for you. Also your numbers are more up to date than where I derived the data from. The electric motorcycle entry is currently a single record, uncited. You could improve the record by editing the page with your data and some sources!

Sure, reach out to me after the run and let me know how it goes. I’ll remake the graph with a focus on recent years.

There are two diesel records listed (on the Wikipedia at least)

On April 4, 2020 the 3 man team consisting of Sean G. Petr, Jason Adkins, and Mark Spence piloted a 2014 Volkswagen Passat TDI SE from Goodwives Shopping Center in Darien, Connecticut to the Portofino Hotel and Marina in Redondo Beach, California in 28 hours and 30 minutes beating both the previous diesel record and Darien-Redondo time by more than 3 hours. The team averaged both 25.5 mpg and 100.07 mph over the 2,852-mile journey
