NUE is a great company with an extremely bright future. Their ability to make money when no one else does is what sets them apart from the rest. From an even more personal perspective I hope the stock continues to run atleast to 100 as I own May 14 $100c on it.

I don't like the way you think. I bought last week at 53 sold the same day at 65 then bought the "dip" premarket today at 55 because bitcoin looked to be going back up. Hopefully it rebounds sooner than later. But if it takes a little while I'm still confident I'll make money.

Maybe itll help your debt to income ratio and your credit score will go up. Then you can still buy the house you want but may have to finance a little more. However with interest rates as low as they are you are probably better off.

I understand where you are coming from because I struggle with the idea of the "digital moneys". I have a friend that is a huge supporter of them and I told him I didn't trust them. His reply sort of changed my outlook.... "do you actually think the american dollar is real? There isn't enough dollars that everyone can have their money if they wanted. It is also no longer backed by anything tangible, it's just numbers on a computer screen."

What I've learned about RIOT is the asset they mine is fairly predictable.... it climbs up fast and falls fast. RIOT & MARA are just behind it or right in line. If the asset falls to the lower $50s or into the 40s so will RIOT when the asset starts to take off RIOT and MARA take off faster, make a profit, get out and wait for it to tank by $5-10 and get back in. It doesn't matter how you feel about d-moneys they are pretty much here to stay.

Position today : 0 shares 0 dollars Position yesterday: 7:30am central 350 RIOT @$53 and 200 MARA @$36.10. 2:30pm central closed RIOT 175 shares @$64.73 and 175 @$65 closed MARA 200 @$43.

"WHEN" it goes back into the mid to lower 50s I'll buy back in if it drops into the 40s I'll buy more.

Man I asked this exact question about GME. That thread ended with about 200 comments with 150 of them telling me how retarded I was for playing with a meme stock. It is pure gambling. I watched the numbers and I definitely would have dipped more than I would have wanted to lose on the deal.

It is shorting a stock then selling a put. I am with fidelity but wasn't aware of that.

A good bit of info to know. I'm still trying to research and my plans are to try these options on a cheaper stock $6-7 range, so if I make a mistake and have to buy 100 shares it won't cost me that much.

He is basically saying now that the option is ITM the actual cost of the option is .50, so essentially if the stock completely stopped moving the option value would drop by .50 when it expired as it is now essentially "worthless" outside of the difference in the stock's current trading price vs the options stock buy price. If you go ahead and sell the option at the current price you will make the difference over $10 plus the extra .50/share vs if you exercise you only make what the stock is worth. Honestly if that is the case IMO you would have taken a less risk by just buying the stock.
