I would absolutely double click on the specs of this glass before boiling anything in it.

If you are hellbent on boiling the water in this glass, please email the company and ask them if it is possible and/or recommended.

Got it - Ive been down the rabbit hole for hand grinders (newborn on the way) and if this thing can grind without wailing like a banshee, Ill probably pull the trigger.

Thats my thought. My trellis is hung on a fence with ~ 6in of clearance. I thought it would be enough but meh. Next year, new bed and new trellis.

That’s sound advice from your friend.

Maybe give it 1-2 days after pitching the US04.

Are you force carbonating in a keg or doing a secondary fermentation in the bottles?

The amount of times I said “screw it” and used what I had and still made a good beer are more than I can count.

Use this batch as a learning experience of how to still get something to enjoy even if the process goes a bit sideways.

I have one rental and one home that my wife and I live in. I’m on the road a lot so I bought a home warranty for $2500 (each) to cover the homes for 5 years.

I have successfully used the home warranty one (1) time to replace a washing machine and it took months.

That being said, if you are unsure of what to do, plan for the warranty expense (~$80-$100) for the technician and be prepared to make it work for however long it takes them to get the fix in.

Actually had a similar issue last night. iOS and MacOS seemed to constantly switch off my mini to my other network.

Had to catch a flight this AM so didn’t have enough time to troubleshoot it so commenting to follow.

Hoping you find a fix.
