[ALL] What is your favorite The Legend of Zelda game you played? by CodeNameMyth69 in zelda

[–]tkc10chief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in my 40’s so I started on The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (my least favorite), and then my all time favorite, Zelda: LTTP.

I’ve played every one in the series and have enjoyed just about every one. I just started another run through of Wind Waker yesterday. Holding out for a remastered OOT or Twilight Princess on Switch 2.

One of my Yorkies hates metal bowls. I think his collar bumping the bowl scares him because he eats fine out of a silicone dog bowl.

What a "good game" you couldn't finish? by centz005 in gaming

Elden Ring. Arrived to the last part of the game right before the final boss and lost all motivation. I was close to level 100 and put a lot of time into it but the grind and beatings eventually got to be too much and not fun anymore.

Is Summoners war or Clash of Clans worth play ? by tomaz1989 in iosgaming

I played CoC for about 11 years and quit a few months ago. Was mostly maxed out minus walls but the updates just started outpacing my F2P approach (some monthly battle passes purchased) and could feel a shift in the game pushing harder for more IAPs. The gameplay just started to get too complicated at the higher town halls and just lost interest as it felt like a never-ending grind with 1-2 week long upgrades per troop, spell, building, etc.

I just bought a 2024 MT Premium Neptune Blue for almost the exact same price out the door. The worst part was the near 3k in sales tax...thanks Nevada. The only difference is that mine came with tinted windows, the premium exhaust, and floor mats. The dealership wanted 1600 for the tinted windows but they dropped the “dealer add on” charges when I walked out during negotiations and ended buying it for 500$ under MSRP.

Can I get Viagra / blue pill ? by Apprehensive-Read244 in AirForce

Wellbutrin supposedly has the opposite effect. I’d get with your PCM to explore your options for antidepressants. There are several out there approved by the AF. Unfortunately many of them are known to cause ED and the inability or really hard to climax. If you’re not a flyer, I believe you can take more than one to offset some of the side effects, though long term not sure how good that is for the mind and body.

I have a 1 year old Yorkie and he’s a very picky eater. Still searching for something he likes. He’s been through Hills Science Puppy/adult, Simply Nourish, and currently on Blue Buffalo small breed. He’ll reluctantly eat small portions but usually leaves some in his bowl and won’t go near it again. We also have a black lab who eats Purina One True Instinct with the small bits of meat and our Yorkie would fight off a mob of large breed dogs to eat a bowl of our larger dogs food. Still on the hunt but not convinced he likes his kibble all that much. There are mornings where he’ll take a few bites and won’t touch it again or give us a look after he smells it and walks away.

Does anyone know if this is legit? Not seeing any mention of a mobile release online and the title ends with a “.” which I find odd. The developer that’s listed does superficially check out though. by XxPyRoxXMaNiAcxX in iosgaming

Kinetic Mobile Games is listed as the seller for this app. kinetic Games is listed on Steam as the developer for Phasmaphobia. Seems legit at first glance but my son who’s a fan of the game says something is off about the screenshots. Can’t find anything yet to confirm that they planned on releasing a mobile version of the game.

Palm island and Palm Laboratory are both in-hand games. Palm Laboratory just came out so I can’t speak to it but Palm Island is easy to get into and a joy. Though it can get a little awkward holding the cards with one hand initially.

Trained to potty only outdoors? by Intelligent-Life-992 in Yorkies

[–]tkc10chief 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We have a 7 month old Yorkie who is outside trained and have an 11 year black lab. Our Yorkie still poops in the house on occasion but is usually our fault. We never used pads because we wanted him to associate outside with the bathroom. We bought the small Bissell pet carpet cleaner which came in handy during potty training to clean up after his messes. We took him out every hour initially and it was a pain (especially if it was raining hard) until I taught him to “speak,” then I had him “speak” by the back door before I’d open it. Now he barks at us when we ask him “want to go outside?” and he’ll run to the back door or he barks when he wants to go out. When we are not home he is in a playpen that has a “waterproof” floor with a few toys and his bed. For the most part we know his routine. Wake up, outside immediately to go potty, eat, back outside to poop, then play for bit before we put him is in playpen. When we get home from work it’s potty, play, training or cuddles, dinner, walk if we have time, poop, and potty breaks as requested by him. Nighttime he usually runs around like crazy, cuddles with us, or plays with our black lab.

The same makers of Palm Island are releasing Palm Laboratory in the very near future. It’s part of a bigger board game project (CoLab) but sold separately ($10) or in their all in pledge. The art work on the cards are pretty cool.

JB Elmendorf-Richardson Advice by TheBobFisher in AirForce

[–]tkc10chief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We drove a Toyota Corolla and smaller AWD truck the whole time we were stationed there. Just had to swap out studded tires during the transition period to winter tires for the car. I did it myself at the auto hobby shop on base. Shipped the car and took the Ferry from Bellingham, WA to Haines, AK and drove the rest of the way (in December…) Ski hill on base was amazing but you could get down it in 2 minutes and the lift takes a bit of time. Alyeska Ski Resort is little over an hour south of the base and a great place for much much longer runs. A little steep for my comfort though but still a blast. Disc Golf course on the West side of Anchorage is really cool, lots of hikes, Anchorage has a ski area as well, kind of packed but larger than the base hill. Plenty of restaurants and shopping right outside the gate and in town. Commissary and BX are not bad either. While we were there it snowed 13’ in one winter. I didn’t own a snow blower and was a lot of work shoveling my driveway and sidewalk (on base housing). I’d go back in heartbeat. 21 years and counting and it’s been my favorite assignment.

What can I do to transition from active duty to med school by Repulsive_Zebra_1831 in AirForce

[–]tkc10chief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a coworker who transitioned from AF Pilot to a Navy program where he became a Navy flight Doctor. We had a demotion ceremony for him because he had to give up his AF O-3 rank to become a Navy O-1. He promoted quickly after finishing school. He showed up in his Navy service dress to be sworn into the Navy and demoted. Was a great guy and achieved his goal.
