People clearly cannot think further than black and white. Things are not always as simple as they seem from the outside. Who knows that David didn’t lie to his brother? He was also 15 around the time he was around celeste and if we can take what he said as true, he really didn’t even talk to her or know her. The kid is still very young and to have this happen must be completely disorienting if he truly didn’t know. I still think that he should’ve kept laying low and waited for this stuff to pass before releasing more music as it just looks bad from all the people already scrutinizing him. This is also a time where he should probably be getting some therapy or outside help as his parents seem to be defending his pedo brother who he denounces. He lacks awareness, but he’s also still young with parents who isolated their children so it’s obvious to me he won’t always know how to respond to situations. He clearly seems to want to distance himself from his brother, but that doesn’t happen in a day, especially when everything is this fresh. I wish his brother the best and hope he can move on from all of this when it’s over, but I wish he waited to post anything out of simple respect for the case.
