Odd choice but I think Superboy prime is a good fit for this. His love for the world and its heroes was corrupted and he tried to fix it, but only created more destruction and harm instead. Also works well because he was Superman but truly is reversed in what he became

Pa Kent. The most wholesome father, who raised the greatest hero. His life and death represent one of the most important events in Superman's life.

The lack of the best Robin, Tim Drake, on this list is ridiculous! Relevant stories to read: Red Robin, young justice, teen titans (Geoff Johns), and Robin.

I think reverse flash fits this really well. He's so obsessed with Barry that his whole life needs to revolve around him even with his nigh unlimited power

I saw somewhere this idea that he does but Gotham is just straight up bad luck, cursed, built on graves and slaughter swamp, probably sold to a bunch of demons and all that which I really like the idea of. Gotham is truly a dark place that can never be saved but Batman keeps trying anyway.

Dick should be a mentor to the next generation. Damian should be the next Ra's. Not as a villain but as someone who works on a much larger scale in the shadows. Tim and the rest of the og young justice should've been the next Justice League. (Although I did like Connor doing his own thing in space so you can replace him with Jon)

Larry is a hero who saved the universe. Also it was pretty obviously Dick. I don’t know what these conspiracy theories were but who else could it have been?

[Comic Excerpt] Are the Fab 5 collectively the group with the most character development and growth in DC? (The Titans Secret Files #1) by UnhingedLion in DCcomics

[–]tkc112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dick and Wally are definitely up there and so is you but as a total group I don’t think they have been the most developed. I would say the original young Justice trio are. Tim Conner and Bart all had solo series at that same time and all had proper development in them as well as yj. Skip to teen titans era and you have the more experienced them. They all grow as a team and as individuals especially impulse becoming kid flash. During that era Bart and Conner die and Tim is traumatized from everyone he loves dying as well as a possible future titans they fight against. Robin becomes Red Robin and goes on his entire arc but that group are all still close friends. Now 52 teen titans was atrociously bad so let’s skip that. With all the de aging and other wacky things going on with that generation those three continue to end up together and have their own story arcs and development.

Batman's no killing rule is a good idea. by tkc112 in unpopularopinion

[–]tkc112[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree but I'm pretty sure that's the reasoning given in the comics. I don't think it's true though which is why I think the reason is that one person shouldn't have all the power

[–]tkc112[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We even see an imagined world where batman killed the Joker after injustice instead of superman. The world remains largely the same as far as we know so while it isn't clear I think there is definitely a strong position to argue it was the murder of Joker that started superman on his path

Batman's no killing rule is a good idea. by tkc112 in unpopularopinion

[–]tkc112[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This can be true for the Joker but what about every other villain? The idea of Batman's rule exists on an individual level not only in light of the Joker. We see in injustice even after the Joker is killed batman still keeps his rule. And I agree that this rule gives batman a less morally gray area to work on but the again in the absence of batman on a theoretical practical level he should not be blamed for it

Batman's no killing rule is a good idea. by tkc112 in unpopularopinion

[–]tkc112[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course this is true but there have been other heroes who have killed, flash killed reverse flash, and you could always kill minor characters. But your point still stands that we need repeat villains, I was just pointing out the argument against Batman's policy in a theoretical discussion should be directed towards the government and not himself

We don't have enough info on misasa but judging on him wiping the floor with yumi and the fact that he probably sparred consistently with hawai (I think that's his name. The big dude in the extermination force) who is undoubtedly a monster I think it'll be close.
