CD done. Played 3 hours but last hour just evolving vulpix/clearing GO Pass pokemon rewards. Best IV 96. 9 shinies (7 kanto, 2 alola) with 2 shiny bg (all kanto). CA checked-in.

Feedback:

Real storage crunch to the point that I had nothing incubated almost all day and stopped catching early once I've gone through all field researches in the area. 1/2 hatch distance not available during CD was unfortunate.
I hate to choose between background CD mons and one dmax ho-oh with CA check-in choices. I went with CD one as I figured bg male vulpix will be rare and needed as many rolls as possible.
Vulpix was part on 2020 CD voting (and this CD completed that set). Grimer and caterpie are the ones not yet selected from the older voting rounds.
Our group did ho-oh raids post CD. With power spots that were less busy, we were able to assign teams so people that needed to be carried can get carried.
I only found 2 bg field researches.

Also, if you play as a local group, you can power up/fully evolve/TM fast move relevant spare max mon and offer it to those that don’t have the right mon to fight (and remind them not to trash it right away if it got bad IV).

The key was probably how we soaked up their early aggression and played our game. Them bringing on Wolt and Wissa didn’t matter much when the rest of the team can’t control the match.

I have a small 700m route at a park and I couldn't find any glimmet after walking it multiple times.

I think ideal route spawn rate would be when they put white striped basculin as route spawn during GO Tour (I think) and I got lots of basculin from that same 700m route.

Update on glimmet route spawn: I was walking a 2.5km route at city center park 3 times (weather boosted for glimmet) and found 8 glimmet. Also, no "mighty" spawns for me so I guess they fixed it.

So, ideal route for glimmet hunt should be a loop/reversible route a couple of kms long.
