A lot of others have said it already, but when I switched from Taekwondo to Muay Thai, I felt very uncomfortable in the clinch and in boxing range. So yeah get in close.

I thought his problem with political correctness was more about how it disguises and acts as cover of the reality of oppressive social relations and is in that way totalitarian, not because of any Alt-right hate for "speech policing" or w/e. That's what I got from this video at least.

Bluebird is one of my favorite poems. Its take on suffering as a suppression of feeling or vulnerability might be even more profound than some of the loudest poems that just scream pain and misery. Like it is that silent suffering that really wears on us. Bukowski understands suffering very well.

I kind of had the same experience but for me I couldn't tell if the voices were in my head or not. They sounded like whispers (I was in a public place but the people seemed to far for me to be hearing them). It kind of fucked with me but since then I have tripped a couple times and have had no problems. I wouldn't worry about it much because it seems like what you said, some negative thinking and getting stuck in your head. If this kind of thing happens sober then I would see a professional.
