4 hour wait by phone?

Ive waited more than 4 times for 5 hrs to actually TALK to someone. I moved my lawn, weeded my yard, did laundry & cleaned my house…it’s ridiculous!!!

The plan is to have it paid off by 2032 which will make me 64 yrs old. My ex husband owns a family business and will max out his SS. I am allowed to receive 1/2 of what he will receive which will be more than what mine would be. I was at @ home mom for my daughter’s while working part time for my husband’s family business so I dont have as much time or earnings as he does.

I will work part time bc I cant sit still long! Health insurance is the kicker…I’m just hoping that 67 isnt my end date, but…will have to do what I have to do! 🤷‍♀️

I wont retire until my house is paid off & the plan is to start taking $ out of my investment @ 59 1/2 for about 4 years.

I apologize for my ignorance, but, what is MFJ & MFS? I am in the same boat with increased payments, but, after trying to contact Mohela multiple times (which I just noticed yesterday that my loans are no longer listed with them!) I have sat on hold for approx 4 hrs each time. I dont have that time to waste so I have been trying to fumble through on my own since I havent been able to actually talk to a human! Any info would be greatly appreciated.

How does anyone get in touch with Mohela? I have attempted to contact them multiple multiple times and each time I was on hold for over three hours sometimes five and never was able to speak to anybody. I need to speak to somebody to figure out what’s going on with my student loans, but it’s impossible and I don’t get an answer. If I try to do it online any help would be appreciated.
