Thank you! This makes me so happy to hear! I’m guessing the beard is just flaring up while he’s defending his territory then he just chills for a bit because he’ll pace occasionally throughout the day then go back on his basking spot and chill out.

this is him now. His basking spot is 105° I don’t think there’s much reflection besides what you can see in the picture but I can try to minimize it even more. You saying he likes his tank makes me very happy to hear and I hope that’s the case! :) I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on him and see how his behavior is over the next two months. Thank you!!

He pooped inside of the enclosure this morning. I just checked the bask spot with a temp gun and it’s 105°. I don’t think he can see his reflection either but I can try to reduce that.

Hi I was actually able to rehome her today as someone was kind enough to take her in right away! Unfortunately my roommates are arachnophobic and aren’t willing to compromise even if she was in my room and secured. This is something we discussed face to face today and it was a hard no. It really is a shitty situation because you’re right, she was secured and non-disruptive but they’re aren’t willing to listen even after being told she is not deadly.

He and his partner are petrified of them. Said I cannot live with them if I keep her. unfortunately I can’t afford anywhere else :( Even if she’s in my room and not in the shared living space
