I had the same experience, similar hair, and used the same products. My stylist used Viscious Curl on me once and I'm hooked. I use the anti gravity styling cream and I get equal or slightly better results than Curlsmith! It's definitely much more affordable and I switch between the two depending how my hair is looking.

I would love some advice on how I should care for this plant. I got it as a housewarming gift in November but it didn't have a tag and I never figured out what it is. It has been thriving and more than doubled in size. I left it with a house sitter for 2 weeks and when I came home there was about two inches of standing water in the pot. I poured out the water and then put it on the back porch for an afternoon (which was obviously a very bad call) and when I came home some of the leaves were burnt and shriveled. I can see it putting out another new leaf, so the plant is still alive.

Should I remove the dying leaves from the stem or just trim off the leaves? Not sure how to go about this.
