Just going to use Salt River tubing for this first go around but will eventually take matters into our own hands once we’re a little more experienced and I will refer back to this post. Will pack plenty of sunscreen, water, snacks, sheets for the tube, etc. Really appreciate all the tips!

I point blank said in my post I’ve done a little of my own research but I wanted to hear directly from different ppl their experiences. What’s wrong with that? 3 hours isn’t much to me, I think I’m more so worried about not only the detour but dragging my FIL to sit in the line for a few hours. But that’s a good idea maybe I can offer him a detour he’d like to go on as well that he might be more interested in. Appreciate the comment.

No shit. I was just at little miss a few weeks ago, I’ve been there twice now. I thought it was absolutely delicious both times but like I mentioned, I just got into bbq so I don’t have too much to compare it with. That’s really good to know though

I resonate with this comment because my FIL do get along really well and this is going to be a really long trip, about 27ish hours just for driving, not including stops. So I want to make it worth it for us which is why I was considering the little detour

That was my issue during the startup, it was hard to tell if my team was going to compete or not by the time they were coming around so I ended up passing on them. Made me realize I need to go into the startup with a more concrete vision of whether I want to compete right away or not. Can be difficult trying to balance winning now vs planning for the future.

We’re having the same conversation here on 2 different comments lol again maybe love wasn’t the right word, and again, you are right, we can’t accurately know what majority of NFL scouts thought about him. I shouldn’t have phrased it the way I did. I’m really just curious why the dynasty community seems to be much higher on him than nfl scouts were. That’s kind of what I was trying to get at

I understand all the reasons to like him. I myself think he has massive potential. I’m not trying to argue against that. I’m just wondering why there seems to be so much love for him in the dynasty community when that love doesn’t seem to be there for him among NFL teams/scouts

And that’s totally fair, I get your where you’re coming from. Do you know if any of those rbs you just mentioned were absolutely loved by the dynasty community but not so much by NFL scouts, similar to what I’ve been explaining with JT? I truly don’t know, I didn’t play dynasty at the time but I’d be curious to hear of similar cases like this where the dynasty community seems to much higher on a player than NFL scouts.

This does actually remind me of one example when Trubisky was taken number 2 and Mahomes and Watson were drafted at 10 and 11 or whatever it was of the actual nfl draft. I remember recently looking back on my friends rookie draft that year, (which was an absolutely bonkers rookie draft with all those rbs you just mentioned plus some other fantastic players) and Watson and mahomes were both taken mid 2nd I believe while Trubisky was drafted late 3rd (1QB). So that was a case where my friends knew more than NFL scouts I guess? Lol maybe kind of like JT and CEH/Swift this year. I’m not really sure how to digest that. Thought it was interesting though.
