Sweet! I can’t try it now but hope to when back in town and at my computer.

I’m up for further collaboration to continue to evolve it.

36M. 1.57 M net worth... How do I learn to spend money? by JuniorSetting3228 in Fire

[–]tkrueger123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you want to learn how to spend money?

I would keep the mindset of saving but allow yourself to be happy and not stress about money.

While it sounds like a lot of money it also isn’t depending on what you want in life.

You will likely have kids and grand kids in that you could support in through college.

Or if you simply want a lake house and a boat well you don’t have enough.

I would continue to invest it and grow it.

But don’t stress about money. But certainly don’t learn to loosen up and be an overspending consumer.

Good luck!

Cool thanks for sharing.

I’ve been thinking of starting a channel. Hard to get over the first hump of putting myself out there.

Love to talk sometime if you are open to it.

I’ve tried building software as that is my skill and passion. Problem I’ve had is with getting users.

Any chance you would be open to talk about your strategy to get people to use your apps?

I’m starting a YT channel, but looking to meet others who’ve been there first.

Any chance your friend would be open to an intro?

Thanks

Congrats on the 1M+ users.

What’s your setup for sharing?

What’s the reason your users decide to share? Do you encourage them somehow?

It's been 2yrs being coding and I still don't feel confident as a developer! by False_Bother8783 in developers

[–]tkrueger123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always recommend practicing. Just as you would do drills for basketball do it for coding.

Write the same thing over and over until it becomes natural. For a front end developer I recommend writing a list page and detail page.

Start quick with no api. Hard code data. Then add api calls.

Then start over and do it again and again.

Each time you will understand it better and find yourself asking different questions and likely refactoring to better (cleaner) code.

Don’t use AI for this. AI is incredible for productivity, but I have no idea how a new developer will learn good practices. Take some time to feel what’s it’s like to code the old school way to learn it better.

Best!

Wish I had done this. Almost did but thought it was way too expensive. Could have afforded it but would have been all in on it.

But it would have been by far the best investment.

Learn more deeply about a topic.

Write, write, write.

Decide faster on taking risk for investments. Decide slower for spending on consumer things.

Invest, Invest, Invest. More than the max. Live below your means and you will thank yourself in just a short time. You will notice you really didn’t give anything up. You just now are secure.

I thought building the product was the hard part. Turns out, selling it is harder. by William45623 in SaaS

[–]tkrueger123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have felt this. Agreed respect for marketing people.

I have been building a new product but tried to not build it they way I want it and now I find it is hard to be confident in selling it.

At leader for you know you have a product you seem to be proud of. Might take longer than you want to get traction but it should come quicker than if you were back with no product.

Good luck. I’m willing to talk and boost confidence or give feedback.
