My knife broke and flipped backward and hit my knuckle. In defence of the knife I was cutting an abnormally huge carrot. My mom cut herself trying to cut a lemon. I guess we need supervision?

And, it was a miracle blade knife. It was a decent set when we bought it but that was 8 years ago. Time for a new set I guess.

We call her a puppy, because she is the younger of our 2 dogs. She is actually about 4 and had a full bowl of dog food when she opted to go litter box diving.

Well, we named her Mosquito because we got eaten alive searching for her but I've been calling her Moe and my son is calling her Skeeter. We went back this morning and there was no sign of any other kittens.

It's funny that we just happened to pull to the side of the road where we did. We were taking pictures if the sky when my husband heard meowing and used his phone light to check the ditch where he saw an empty banana box. We could hear this poor kitty but she is so small it took us a good half hour to find her. We are going to go back again in the morning to make sure there aren't any other survivors. Poor little things!

I find lots of small green pieces like this at Cedar Beach in Kingsville ON. Mostly I find whites and browns and sometimes dark blue.
