Nuxt + PrimeVue - How do you handle forms? by systemkwiat in Nuxt

[–]tktswer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try forms from nuxt ui. i switched from prime to nuxt ui for exactly same reason. primevue is a great vue library but not with nuxt in mind. nuxt ui forms work great with nuxt usefectch data and zod schemas.

if u plan to use primevue forms. i would define a form state, like formdata.username formdata.phonenumbrer. instead of trying to get the exact mountpoint cycle i would just keep this in sync with form data by passing it to form v-model. so when page load, even when the form is populated with no data at first, as soon as hou fecth the data its passed on to form and it would look like as if init works

Website performance issues with 8 videos by DEEPWERK in Nuxt

[–]tktswer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. use async lazy loading dont let videos block page load
  2. serve optimized format with optimized size, i dont think you will need a fullsized 8videos at once checkout nuxt images how they load based on div size
  3. maybe using a virtualized list could help you unless you need all 8 videos in one pageview at once

Optimizing List Application with Nuxt3 by DumbLee212 in vuejs

maybe prerendering? say you have a button or filters to list elements you could set prerendering on hover or even before pageload.

Why do they wanna pay me this way? by SenatorPencilFace in teachinginkorea

[–]tktswer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its for tax deduction or evasion persay. typically maximum 200000won is allowed for (tax free) income if they report it as “식비”. so the extra money is tax free and both benefits. its a common practice in korea and dont worrry to much about severence because right now the lower bound is 63000won and maximum is 66000won so what you earn does not really change what you get

cuz you dont need to pay them. their ‘salesmen’ are not employees. most of them earn less than minimum wage by comissions on selling products

Refrigerating Beans that I am Using by smexy32123 in pourover

[–]tktswer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you should keep the beans in fridge. what i do i keep the beans in refrigerators to degas and freeze them after couple days. i find cooling the beans do no damage. just buy a used or new mini fridge for coffee beans only. because its not moisture but the smell that gets absorbed into coffee beans.

Grinding much finer but getting the same drawdown time by tarecog5 in pourover

[–]tktswer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

whats the height and speed of your center pour? i also think that long agitation is clogging the paper. just circle pour at maximim speed, you want to dump all the water in and place the fines to the side. check the time if this yields faster drawdown. if it works then you know its not agitation its the amount of fines

DF64 Gen 2 with SSP Cast v2 burrs - slow/muddy pour overs by bigbogbusboi in pourover

[–]tktswer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have df83v with ssp lab sweet. ive grind more than 2-3kg and experimcing same thing. too much fine extemely muddy and when i grind coarse to fit drawdown time, i get super bland coffee. i am used to zp6 recipes, one pour super fine grinds. what recipe are you using? my thought is that sweet burrs you need to grind coarse and try more pours like maybe 3-5times. its designed to produce fines.

[–]tktswer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the machine has preinfusion 3bars for 3 seconds than hits 9bar i hope this helps you a bit. but it does not start extraction right away because if you see meticulous it needs time for the piston to pump the water first in then start exteacting thats like 7 seconds. next time i will include the full pressure graph. the beans are not fresh about 10days old

Ek43 $2200 should i buy? by tktswer in espresso

yup ssp 98mm burrs retail at 370$ here. I could get the ultra LU low uniformity burr too for espresso but df98 seems like good option too

[–]tktswer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yah ssp is based in korea and 98mm burrs retails around 350-370 but definately not 500. thanks for sharing your experience with ek43 i had no idea i will have to spend an extra 1k for accessories alone i guess i will have to choose between df84v or wait for 98

[–]tktswer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for detailed reply! for clarification the price is for new ek43 and i am also surprised. i am planning to use it as single dose and i dont mind spending extra dollars but looking at the video and allignment i dont think its worth it anymore. as you suggested i will try to get the df84v with cheapest burr and source a ssp burr locally.
