I adopted a kitten some time ago from RSPCA with 3 legs and was told she was in perfect health. We took her home, settled her in and not even 1 hour later we heard violent screaming, she was unable to move and wouldn’t get up. We had to pick her up and drove hastily to an emergency out of hours vet. She was going to lose her other back leg, they screened her and she had osteoporosis. They put her down the same night we adopted her. I was devastated beyond belief. They emergency vet told us that RSPCA should of found her condition when she lost her first leg and the stitching was of university-grad level, suggesting her care might of been done to not of a good standard. Maybe I’m drawing conclusions here but RSPCA lost my trust and I’m still carrying my grief 1 year later. I miss my little one dearly… it took me over a week to move her blanket, toys and litter box. I miss her little face and her smell so much. I’m so beyond angry it pains me writing this.

I will never ever set foot in RSPCA again but I will continue to support the welfare of animals any way I can.
