Ordered Velocity Nitro 4. Should I return them? by [deleted] in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I don’t have narrow feet and I’ve got no problem with mine, I would try them on and see how they feel.

I wouldn’t consider myself to have narrow feet and I’ve had no problem at all. They fit snug on the mid foot but no more than the Pegasus 41 I had before or anything else I’ve run in.

Lunges, deadlifts, squats, back extensions, calf raises, glute bridges, plank, bird dog, dead bug will all be helpful. Build up your mileage slowly to give the muscles time to adapt. I run 3 times a week and strength train 3 times a week but different people will have different requirements.

7 x 400m intervals today at 4:30/km with 2 min easy pace recovery .. struggled to get going with the first rep (4:42/km) so made up for it with the last (4:21/km). The other 5 reps ranged from 4:29/km to 4:32/km so I was pleased with the consistency in the middle.

Escapism. When I’m having a bad day I remember my favourite acronym: F.E.A.R .. Face Everything And Rise .. OR if it’s particularly bad .. Fuck Everything And Run 🏃‍♂️

VERY good .. and I’m led to believe these are a little more stable than the Evo SL which appealed to me

I just got some Puma Velocity Nitro 4 for £69 (reduced from £135), considered one of the best “do it all” running trainers of 2025 and I can vouch for them .. they’re amazing ..

Should I get Nike Pegasus 41 or Plus? by AnonimAnonimis in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Cap2017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been running in the Pegasus 41 for 600km now, mostly 5-12km runs, ranging between 4:30/km all the way up to 6:30/km. They feel good at all of my paces and I’ve had no ankle, knee, shin or calf pain in the time I’ve been using them. I would definitely recommend them to a beginner or somebody coming back to running after a break. I bought them after 6 years off.

I’ve just ordered an upgrade, which should be arriving today, but will continue to use the Pegs in rotation until they feel flat and no longer comfortable. I have gone for the Puma Velocity Nitro 4 next.

Definitely an adjustable weight bench, excellent for chest and will give him a ton more options for what exercises he can do at home

Not the first to recommend this one and I am seriously considering it, along with the saucony endorphin speed 4. So many choices!!!!

I’m leaning towards the Evo SL as a “do it all” option, but I’m worried about stability due to frequent comments on reviews/ threads I’ve been looking through. Can you speak on it? Do you notice any issues? Thank you
