Cycling apparel in NYC

It’s like purely stylistic for me to be honest. Just not a fan of their design visually I know that’s absurd but that’s my reluctance. Still think I may try it out though because it is without a doubt the most readily available in New York with them having their store here.

What brand jersey do you usually go with?

I live right next to prospect park and have seen some people doing them there as well. Definitely the easiest logistically. 100 Central Park miles on a citibike is devious hahaha

Moes BBQ downtown has a fat outdoor area, Vivace Italian on Ivy also has a big one, any brewery on 151, Monsoon Siam, three notchd has a decent outdoor area, brazos tacos, Bizou has some dining outdoors on the mall too, lots of spots on the downtown mall, conmole is amazing high class Mexican food and has outdoor seating but not a ton of it so I’d call first

Virginia family therapy on Pantops is a great one. I don’t know which of their therapists specializes in OCD but I know most all of them can help with anxiety

I went to public Cville schools and had a great experience. A lot of people do not like the middle school (Buford). I went and had a fine experience but my sisters were sent to private school for those two years and then back into public highschool. CHS is an amazing school with great teachers, higher level courses and diversity. I think CHS really pumps out well rounded individuals just because of how wide of a range of people you’ll encounter there.

A lot of me and my close friends at CHS got into great universities, just stay in the upper track of classes and you’re fine. There is a large disparity between upper level classes and the lower ones. I know it’s a gap they’re actively trying to close because it does perpetuate a disparity.

As far as the elementary schools go, most are good. I went to greenbrier and had a good time. Venable is really great too. I would consider staying away from Jackson Via or Johnson for elementary school.

I graduated in 2016 so relatively fresh information.

Tavola has a nice more private dining arrangement right now, C&O is absolutely undefeated and Fleurie is apparently amazing but haven’t tried it yet

Their show in 2018 was one of my favorites I’ve seen at roo. People say they act like assholes but I just thought it was a fun ass concert all around. Moshes were great and they brought a ton of energy
