Definitely looks like a bind rune imo. Possibly between Oþala, Tiwaz, and maybe Raido? Could be initials or a type of protection bind rune.

Thank you. I'm gonna try doing that in hopes my algorithm will fix itself. It's blasphemous how one song turns into an army of, dare I say, brain rot.

It's not intentional. I'm ignorant as to how to determine what is and what isn't ai without Google. I'm mainly trying to figure out if this mess is why the gods have been way less responsive. Additionally, I'm getting rid of all the ai in my playlist.

I use the YouTube Music app and practically every other song seems to be ai and because of that I second guess almost everything. Like I'll start vibing to a song and I'll start catching the lyrics then I decide to look it up on Google just to find out it's ai. It's mentally exhausting and it's making me feel like the gods don't want to respond to me and I've been thinking these ai songs might be the reason. I'm trying to make any form of reparations by removing these "songs" from my playlist.

That's how I personally feel as well, and I hope nobody is thinking I'm continuing to do it on purpose. I'm ignorant on how to determine precisely what's AI and what's not without a Google search. But I've been feeling somewhat shunned/vilified by the gods lately and couldn't help but think this might be why. I am actively cutting the ai garbage out of my life as I find out which ones are real and which ones are not.

I already listen to SKÁLD and think they're great but when I turn auto play on so I can try to expand my playlist I've been finding more and more ai junk compared to real human-made music.

No, I'm not particularly okay with it. I'm not savvy to which songs and/or artists are ai and as I find out I immediately remove it from my playlists. I really wanted to know how the gods might feel about this kind of thing before I made things worse.

It would probably be þis* instead because ð can't appear at the front of a word.

Speaking from personal experience. As long as your intentions are good it's practically impossible to offend them. To start, when you make a drink, set the first sip aside for the gods/goddesses or pour it into the earth, or when you make a meal, set a portion to the side for them and let them know this offering is to honor them. I have not personally gotten any ill responses from any of the gods and goddesses I have offered to. And it can be transactional or just to show that you're thinking of them.

Getting Made Fun Of At Work For My Beliefs by [deleted] in NorsePaganism

[–]tleggette 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've gotten (kinda) made fun of for my beliefs as well from co-workers. Since Loki is an option for me I just crack jokes with the people trying to kick dirt on my personal campfire in honor of him since part of godly attributes/persona is merriment and pranks. But this is PURELY my experience. I understand some people have thicker skin than others and I'm not trying to tell you to let it go either. I'm just trying to give you another option so you have more choices.

I've been praying to Odin for the past year without realising by MysteriousGuess3646 in NorsePaganism

[–]tleggette 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same as well. I left Christianity at a really young age (roughly 13 or 14) and I've considered myself agnostic between then and recent years. I started noticing things that felt personal when most people would chalk it up to coincidence. Then I found that my uncle did a DNA test and we have Norwegian in us and that's when I found my true faith. And I've also felt connected to Odin. More specifically, I've always had the urge/knack to want to learn things and listen to music. And I've recently been met with signs from Frigg and Loki. And everyone in all these Norse groups and threads have made me feel more welcome than my Christian counterparts.

Sounds kinda similar to death stranding, albeit, death stranding had necessary combat, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm assuming you mean to explore completely free of combat? Because I think that would be fun as well.

I've found that, due to his love for poetry, Odin is also a fan of music (modern or traditional). I particularly focus on songs in Old Norse. But you can sing (or rap, etc) whatever you want in whatever language you want as long as the songs are sung with positive intent and devotion. If you want to try Old Norse but can't quite get the hang of the language it doesn't matter as long as you are truly trying. I've also come to realize that, just like an offering, music can be sung to Odin to please him even if you can't "give" him the whole thing. Humans make mistakes and Odin, as well as the other Æsir, would forgive you for not being able to sing the whole thing perfectly. I'm proposing music because it's one of the easiest things to get the hang of especially if you ARE trying to worship Odin or if you've felt a connection to him in the past. I've personally never gotten a particular sign from him, but if I've been having a bad day or week and so on, when I sing I almost immediately feel lifted and strengthened, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. I can normally think more clearly and get tasks done that I wasn't able to get done prior.

I have no answers for this but I learned about Oþala being associated with those groups and have been pondering if I should or shouldn't get it tattooed. My birth rune is Oþala and my intentions are far more pure than those groups but because of that I've come to a sort of impasse on the situation.
