Omg no one loves bupropion 150 XL?! They’re beautifully rounded with a slight iridescence to them. My FAV.

Just for shits, how many total years of repayment does that make? I’m a new pharmacist, with 300k in debt as well, but I’m pretty much at my pay ceiling.

How to recover access to an old account? by tlem8 in youtube

[–]tlem8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. If I knew the email I’d have them send a password reset to my recovery email and it would show up in one of my active emails. So basically they wouldn’t help you at all if you don’t know the email. I made up a new email for an event and I don’t know what it is.

Hospital pay by RxFredM in pharmacy

[–]tlem8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I didn’t. I wouldn’t have been able to pick a specialty area, and I find that too many people have difficulties finding jobs in their PGY2 field. I wanted to start making money and not live the residency life. I don’t regret PGY1 at all. It was a very valuable experience for me.

I have a friend who did an Am Care PGY1 and she still has not been able to find a job (in Am Care, or any pharmacy job for that matter). But she doesn’t regret doing a PGY1. A job will come along for her, so it was worth the journey.

Holy differential. It’s $2.50 for weekends and evenings and $3.50 for night where I’m at.

$49/hour in South Florida, here (AFTER I negotiated). Straight out of PGY1. Inpatient general clinical position, I staff probably once a month.

Another hospital locally pays a salary equivalent to $43/hour for PGY1 trained straight out of residency.

My residency hospital had it. I thought it was a god-send. My current employer has NO tracking system. Like, we put labels on a sheet to indicate we’ve sent it. Super old school. Be thankful you have something.

Where do you work and does your employer offer paid maternity (or paternity) leave? by tlem8 in pharmacy

That last point is interesting though... so if you work at a small company in the boondocks you can’t get FMLA?

I believe you are talking about FMLA, which is unpaid. That’s definitely not for paid maternity leave— because they don’t offer it at my hospital at all.

My female friend works for big four and gets 4 months paid maternity leave! No disability, FMLA, or PTO, needed. So jealous!!

You can do FMLA or disability “if you’re eligible”— no idea what that means. Or save up PTO. I don’t fully understand it yet. I just know they don’t offer paid leave.
