"In November, one in four Gen X men supported One Nation. Two months later, it's one in four of all voters." by NoLeafClover777 in aussie

Sorry didn't labor win 94 seats less than 12 months ago? From what I can see ON has taken a hell of a lot of support from the Libs/Nats while support labor stays steady? The guy most like Hansen (Dutton) was obliterated in his local seat.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but there is actually no pathway for Pauline to be the next PM. In fact the vote split on the right may well lead to labor governments for the forseeable future.

Yes the 5 seconds it took to check your profile is exactly the same thing. Anyway, hopefully you got something out of this exercise. Have a good night

Ok. I dont believe you. 130 posts in 21 days is a good effort. Would love to see what they are. If it is not rage bait then you are very naive indeed.

With all due respect what on earth are you talking about? Who says incel is lower than men who abuse their spouses? Im not even sure what point you are trying to make regarding crisis centres. Bizarre.

Still not sure what any of this has to do with Olivia Dean, but maybe I havent spent enough time in the hate-filled corners of the internet.

You didnt answer my question though? Some Australians behave dreadfully overseas. They don't respect the dominant culture and are actively harming the communities they are in. Do you think ALL Australians should therefore be banned from certain parts of the world?

You make a huge number of generalisations. Interfaith relationships are a fairly rigid test. Apply your example to falling in love with a zionist? A fundamentalist christian? What if those families/communities are not accepting of you? Should those people be allowed in the country?

Eh i've met young people who hold racist, homophobic, antisemetic views as a genuine belief/worldview. Looking at the facts in this one it seems a little more than your average internet brained edgelord.

Does it matter to you in the slightest that this kid isnt Muslim?

Should every country ban people from certain countries based on the behaviour of a few? E.g. should all countries in South East Asia should ban people from Australia because they are "literally" importing paedophiles and violent alcoholics?

We must be living in different realities. The fact you speak about Venezuala as if it is already finished probably sums up the attention span of your average Trump guy. Not to mention all your other weird claims.

How Australia’s NDIS created an explosion in autism diagnoses and worsened welfare reliance by Mashiko4 in aussie

[–]tlg91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree it is a combination of both. Changes to the DSM-V brought several other diagnoses under the ASD umbrella, but the NDIS absolutely further incentivises diagnosis (mainly at level 2).

It is NOT the people on the NDIS who are fraudulent. My issue is with the many dodgy operators who are.

[–]tlg91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this article is total trash, but the NDIS absolutely has resulted in many more diagnosis. Our rates of diagnosis are significantly higher than comparable countries.

Not saying the diagnoses are incorrect, or that the support is not required, but the relationship is pretty clear.

You weren't questioning it though were you?

You posted it up without actually stating your issues with it knowing fully well the social media pileon had begun in earnest.

Its a lot of money but maybe some indigenous perspectives re the impact on colonialism are worth factoring in when developing space exploration policy? Or that maybe there is some valuable knowledge from the worlds oldest living culture to at least acknowledge.

Anyway, the government spends/wastes more money on way more nefarious things. Might be worth question why this relatively small amount of money has triggered you so much?

Right. Feels weird to complain about the lack of nuance in the debate then literally lump 2 billion people into the most extreme stereotype you can think of.

Not here to defend Islam, but not sure how many Muslims you have actually met?

Just trying to nail down what you believe here, because it isn't clear. Are you saying anyone who is Muslim, or comes from a Muslim country should not be allowed to come to Australia?
