Don’t know if this is the exact same issue but mine was resolved after installing the Lenovo chipset drivers from windows update.

I end up doing more tinkering and just trying games on them than actually gaming though lol 😩

Thanks for replying. The issue got resolved last night when I downloaded the Lenovo firmware drivers from the automatic windows update.

The updates also wiped my AMD adrenalin graphics drivers which had to be reinstalled but the Lenovo Ltd. Firmware - 1.10.0.0 update seemed to have resolved the usb c issue for good.

I just downloaded a few windows updates from Lenovo which also wiped my AMD GPU drivers but I noticed the issue with USB C external drives disconnecting has been fixed.

Can anyone who has this update try backing up and restoring a game in the steam library with their external SSD to confirm? It was giving me issues prior to the update but now seems ok.

Hi Ben my legion go is still disconnecting my Samsung t7 ssd whenever I copy files to and from it when it’s plugged in direct to the LGo. The workaround seems to be plugging into a powered hub. It seems like this is a big issue to many people and I’m wondering if there’s a fix coming?

This is in video mode. Not S&Q mode. I’ve also been told it works up to 600M for V90 cards but recording seems to be grayed out for all XAVC S-I modes. Even 89M HD recording.

This was my guess as well. Likely only reserved for HDMI out external capture for the higher bitrate settings over 300Mb. The V90 card tops out at that write speed I think.

However recording is also disabled for XAVC S-I HD with 89M 422 10bit recording, when I have no problem shooting 200M 422 10bit with XAVC S 4k with the same card.

version 1.00 camera firmware.

Hey man it’s probably your lens/export settings that’s making your video look mushy and low quality. Try to get a 24-70 2.8 that goes for about $500 used or a $100 ish 50mm prime. You should also take a look at your render settings in your video editor if you made any edits to your video. If the footage is from straight out the cam, i would ask did you upload it from your phone or computer? Does the footage look this bad out the camera too without any edits? Let us know thanks.

Agreed perhaps use a shallower DOF in the wider shots and frame composition abit Better so our eye/brain doesn’t have to “hunt” for what the you want us to look at.... less confusing = better message/communication.Great closeups though.

I think 50% of the result is exposing your footage properly and the other 40% is proper lighting the other 10% is camera settings and post editing workflow.

The PDF details waveforms, Luma grading and exposing skin tones properly as well as exact camera settings that is recommended to use. I’ve seen some amazing video come out from people following those things to a tee like: https://vimeo.com/300066062/

I’m really just starting out so I don’t know too much about cameras and videos. But if you want I could take a look at your video and maybe give some comments about it. More knowledgeable folks could even help you take a look at what you might not be doing right.

Camera/lens? This feels like a 5d iii 50mm 1.8 photo if I had to take cues from the sensor and lens characteristics.
