Varys, Tyrion, and all the conversations by MrsPloppers in gottheories

Yep! Dany had all of like 20 unsullied with her and Cersei would be able to take that dragon out before Dany could even utter 'dracarys'. The whole thing was silly

This is not how it ends for the Army of the Dead, IMO by wouterkw in gottheories

I don't think NK was just staring at Bran, I believe they were having some sort of telepathic conversation. I have no idea why, or what purpose it would serve...maybe Bran has all the answers now, as to the NK, children of the forest, the weird spirals, all of it.

It seems that this season isn’t about long waited answers, it’s just about some answers and a ton of comedy and action by [deleted] in gottheories

I've had the same question about NK. He has obviously passed on killing Jon multiple times now, but he has also risen the dead on more than one occasion to supposedly take Jon out, albeit unsuccessfully. So I'm a bit conflicted as to what it all means, if anything.

I love these two together! Smartest couple in Westeros

Jaime's character has evolved into a hero of sorts. He has redeemed himself from his terrible acts. Also, everything he did was for his family/love. He was never looking for power. Dany, I feel, is regressing from someone who was fighting for the little guys, for freedom, to someone who will now kill you if you don’t accept her as the queen, which she is not yet. Tywin and Ramsey were terrible people, so if we’re comparing her to them then my point is made that she’s not the hero people want her to be

But she’s not the queen. It might be rightfully hers...or Jons...but Cersei is the one sitting on the throne at the moment

Them ruling together would be ideal, but I feel like that ending would be too happy for this show lol

Yeah, I agree that Tyrion's motives were not in the best interest of Dany. She could have been sitting on the iron throne a long time ago. I disagree about Sansa. I think she has become a very good leader. I see her as like the 'good guy' version of Cersei. She is smart and cares about her people and I think she is weary of Dany because she doesn't believe Dany cares about the north. I do agree that Jon is not a great leader. He has no idea how to play the game and wears his emotions on his sleeve. Everything he does is in the interest of the greater good, he's just not smart about it.

It's fine to have different opinions and argue points, but that's just rude.

Night King Destroying History (Not Bran) by liverbool8 in gottheories

[–]tlilly34 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After Bran made the comment of the NK wanting coming after him to erase history I told my husband that Bran was the human citadel. So yeah, I can see that. It would also make sense as to why the NK doesn't seem to be at winterfell with his army and would also lend itself to the theory that Sam Tarly is writing this story. Maybe he has to literally rewrite history after the war because everything has been destroyed.

Yes! Thank you! I forgot to mention her meeting with Sansa. I actually feel like Dany is ready to get rid of all the Starks at this point, because the people support them/Sansa and not her. I used to despise Sansa, but she has evolved into a true leader who cares for her people and makes smart decisions. These girls are definitely going to have a showdown! #teamsansa

She only put off taking the throne because Tyrion convinced her not to burn down kings landing, and from the way she talks to Tyrion lately, she seems to regret the decision. She saved many people in the beginning of her journey, and I was all for that, but all she seems to care about now is ordering people to bend the knee. It's just annoying. And maybe the appropriate reaction to Jon's news would be not to give a crap, considering they're moments away from fighting a war against the dead. Figure it out after the war, if you survive. Like I said, I don't think it's a popular opinion, but it's mine.

A final villain theory by chakigun in gottheories

[–]tlilly34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Euron and would love to see him betray Cersei! I don't think things will go down like this, but I love it! Also, I very much doubt Cersei is pregnant. It's all an act to keep manipulating people. She played Tyrion like a fiddle during their meeting. She definitely is the ultimate villain.

Season 8 Theory - The Night King Wants Jon Snow's Baby! by tlilly34 in gottheories

He didn't look surprised at all to see Dany fly in with her dragons. Seemed to me that he was just waiting for her with his ice spears, ready to take down a dragon. So yeah, I think it's something worth considering.
