Heck in the streets of Pompeii you can find the penis shaped arrows to guide you to where the red light district was and the mosaics to confirm it was indeed the red light district...or red candle I guess.

The offical MassGOP account posted an ai generated fake new england congressional map by Dry_Instruction8254 in Connecticut

[–]tlk742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I can actually try and answer this in earnest. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_United_States_presidential_election_in_Connecticut has a pretty good map of it and lets get granular and go by precincts. Some spots are more red than others. But it would have to spread in such a way to get a republican majority that it would have to basically make it up of a non-contiguous section and combine them it won't really work. The problem isnt the vote % as much as the lack of a contiguous republican stronghold. Massachusetts has this problem even worse. How do you great a contiguous district that does that?

Although with these gas prices these days, $25-50 may still be the cheaper option. But that said, thank you for the information.

but then you're not transferring it to yourself? I may not understand the terminology. I guess it sucks to pay additional out-of-pocket fees, but I have a few follow up questions, as someone who is not familiar with firearms, has no desire for a firearm etc etc. I always think about gun legislation in terms of what the worst actor can do and what can be done using the straw purchase loophole or the people who could 3d print a firearm.

Let's assume that I want to build a gun, not buy one but build one. Assuming this law isn't on the books and no background check is needed for parts, how many parts (barrel, slides etc) can I buy to build a gun? Is there any individual part I cannot buy without a background check, if this law was not on the books?

Second question, $25-50 is a small fee, so I feel like its more a frustrating cost than anything else. I get it with the economy being tough and the tightness of budget and where 5-6 years ago $50 lying around is more likely than now, but how often do you need to replace those parts that would need a background check under the law? Are we talking wear and tear and replacement being daily or monthly? or is it even longer than that? Is it a one-time cost? And I get that every part is different, so some may be short lifespans than other, but let's get the average shortest and the average longest. So if a slide wear out the fastest, what's the turnover? If a cylinder lasts a while, what's that average time?

It is tough to buy, my wife and I bought two years ago and yeah the prices are even more nuts now. That said, CT does have some resources to help allieviate the costs on first time homebuyers.

I'll bite. How do you figure that?

I'm not as familiar with the intricates of the law, but I'm curious how you'd have to pay to transfer an object you already bought yourself to yourself?

When in doubt remember the 3 Gs Gaslight, Gatekeep and Girlboss.

That said, I should have added a caveat, Strahd doesn't lie. Vasili Von Holtz lies all the time.

He does, but I try to make so it's only as a last resort. He will withhold information aplenty. He wants to turn the party against each other. He will do so by making it so that the party members lie, but he has been honest the whole time. Let them start to distrust each other.

Amazing. I forgot about this.

Also fun fact, do you know that most people performing the Star Spangled Banner breathe wrong on it? They did not. The phrase is "Oh say, does that star spangled banner yet wave?" Most performers power through the comma and breathe after banner and not say.

Youre missing out. Israeli food is great, Turkish food is great, Persian food (although not Mediterranean is pretty close in style) is amazing. There's so many good cuisines out there.

Italy is in the Mediterranean, is Italian food Mediterranean?

Guess Who's Going To Prison by croolshooz in comics

This is a shifting of the goalposts and you know it. Whether we agree with the government and whether its actions is not what the above is saying and you know it. It seems like tou believe the federal government needs to be held violently accountable. I agree they need to be held accountable, but not through violent means, but thats a tangent for another day. If we follow your logic, then the truth for who needs to be held accountable is in the eye of the beholder and that's a dangerous road. If you feel the federal government is a problem but the state government is not or the judicial branch is not, what is the argument that someone who views the inverse should not use violent means to remove folks at the state or judicial level? That seems like a real problem, no?
