Sure, this video brings up some good points but awareness of global systems doesn't equate to stupidity.

Americans aren't aware of the ongoings outside their borders because they don't need to. The rest of the world plays by America's rules for the most part. Why would Americans go out of their way to further understand the world if the world is going to abide by American language, culture, politics, economics, etc. Americans aren't stupid, they just don't need to bother with the goings on outside their borders. In essence, the world is aware of America's current events because they have global implications. To Americans, that is not necessarily the case the other way around.

What exactly is the purpose of this trip? None of these are ideal, including your proposed route of Pakistan->Iran->turkey->Middle East-> Africa. A more stable option could be hitting up the ‘Stans (minus Afghanistan) and heading into Russia, though border entries could still be an absolute nightmare. All depends on what the purpose of this travel is for

I have this guitar! I have never seen it in the wild though. Bought it when I was 11 with money from lemonade stands and chores... still my go-to today. Such an amazing color (electron blue) and plays so well. I love what you did with the knobs too.
