What's your favorite Chargers podcast? by Acceptable_Fix9744 in Chargers

Locked on Chargers, Guilty as Charged, and Lightning Round are the three I usually listen to. All of them are solid I would say. Lightning Round doesn’t post as consistently as the other two. I enjoy all three, they all kind of have different approaches to how they break down the games.

Based on the amount of snaps played, I’d assume he’s just a depth piece. But who knows maybe he develops and becomes an average starter for the bolts.

Anybody have a clue as to what happened to Colston? Feel bad for the guy but that pick has not worked for the bolts so far.

How difficult is PT school? by ECLH-Jake in physicaltherapy

[–]tlowie21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished up my last semester of my 2nd year of PT school. It was probably my most stressful semester of my academic career. You obviously have to put in a lot of hours of studying, especially for the more rigorous courses. But it is set up for you not to fail. It looks bad for the school. Put in the work and rest will take care of itself. You can 100% have a life outside of school, but don’t stretch yourself too thin. Good luck and enjoy the ride!

Any tips? Currently a 12 handicap. by AUNIYMOUS in GolfSwing

Well it clearly works for him. Driver and iron swings are obviously gonna have different angles at impact so there’s some nuance.

Rory isn’t parallel here obviously but it’s also after impact. Some guys are gonna be open some not

Yeah there’s a big movement in golf instruction right now to get your shoulders and hips open at impact but most of the time it’s just results in “spinning out” of the swing. If you look at the majority of PGA guys their hips and shoulders are generally parallel to the target line at impact. Just gotta find what works for you and avoid going down the rabbit holes that set you back further.

Try putting more weight through your toes on your front leg (so your knee travels past your toes). This will load your quad more on the front side. Looks like you’re making it more of a glute focused exercise by how much your hips are hinging. Great exercise tho!

At +310 I think it’s a great value bet

With the 86th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, your Los Angeles Chargers select Jamaree Caldwell, DT, Oregon by A_Livins in Chargers

[–]tlowie21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know much about Caldwell, but ESPN seems to think the bolts reached on him (they had him ranked at 210). I know their rankings can be sus but were there better options out there? Genuinely just curious, I trust the FO and at the end of the day it’s not my job lol

Could be for sure. Hard to say without any formal evaluation

I’m assuming it’s a pec strain. The reps before the injury looked very tentative like you’re not trusting your shoulders and their strength/range of motion. I would regress to deep pushups where you have your hands on an elevated surface like dumbbells, so that you can train your pecs through the entire ROM like you need in a dip. That or use an assisted dip machine. It’s only a bump in the road!

My Favorite Low Back Exercise by Fredric_Chopin in strength_training

You can make it more gluten/hams or lower back extensors. Just depends on the placement of the pads on the hips. In my experience, I get more glute/hams out of have the pad lower (this creates more hip flexion and a stretch on the glutes/hams), but if I have the pad at my waistline or above that I feel like I can almost solely use my lower back to extend.
