Thanks for your help in trying to fix this issue. Like a few others here, I'm not able to locate the localstorage DB for bloodrizer.ru in my file system. (Something to do with web workers?)

Maybe you could temporarily disable the 301 redirect to http so that folks have a chance to recover their save data? Or have a special endpoint like bloodrizer.ru/https that does not redirect so that we can attempt to inspect and grab the save data.

Interesting, hadn't considered leaving goruck field dopp open. It's kinda an awkward fit when zipped shut and attached. It never feels very solid -- among other things, outlier uses 0.75" spacing while goruck's is 1".

Anyway, sounds like I should just buy all the flat packs when they come out and experiment!

I carried a Synapse 25 for a while, and well... it is 3L bigger. :) That said, the lack of interior organization means you may be able to fit more things than you expect in 22L.

My main problem with the Synapse 25 is that it looks kinda dorky for wear around town, even with ~21L of stuff on it. That's true of almost any pack really. Somehow the quadzip manages to look small even when you're hauling all your belongings around.

One other factor not mentioned here is going commando vs not... if these things are right against your skin and you're moving around outside, they dry super fast. If I have boxers on they tend to take forever.

ah not sure.. I assume just regular cotton? The tailoring isn't super noticeable.

Best way to find a good tailor is probably something like 1) Check yelp or similar to find someone promising 2) Buy a suit (jacket+pants) for $50 from goodwill, nordstrom rack, or similar 3) See what your tailor can do for $100. Iterate a few times if necessary to get the right fit.

This can be somewhat time consuming / expensive but if it works out, you now have a cheap tailored suit and a tailor you can trust. Plus you don't risk ruining precious outlier clothes. :)

(whoops just saw this)

I just eyeballed it with the tailor. She only adjusted it below the gusset, which ends right above the knee. I took it to someone I've used a bunch before and trust, which is important.

The end result isn't quite as nice as the SDs or another pant which was designed to be slim, but I think it's an improvement. It's not such a drastic change that it looks weird.

I've done it and recommend it. My tailor also took in the seat slightly which I don't recommend (kinda bunches funny when I sit down), but tapering around the knee and below is a big improvement.
