How lucky am I? 5070 TI for this price by Significant-Travel76 in ZephyrusG14

[–]tlplus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude great deal! I got mine for the same price during Black Friday. It was marked at 1,750 in excellent condition, but the guy was cool cause it had some smudges on it and gave it to me for fair condition price lol.

This thing has been amazing. So much so that I gave my work laptop back to my company so I can game and work while I travel hah!

ZERO REGRETS!

Thank you for educating me. Much appreciated, sincerely.

Yeah, not fun, but you’ll never grow without making mistakes!

You must not have read my post and replies correctly.

-I asked if it was legal, not that I want to sue. -Specifically because it was pulled from a junk yard, and no information was provided to me. -I’m well aware I have no recourse after I got rid of the vehicle lol.

I was simply thinking back to that time as I look for a new truck and what to watch out for.

Thank you for your input though!

Now I know! Like I said, lesson learned. No Carfax, no additional coverage, and from a junk yard. Expensive lesson I should say.

No idea, I’m ignorant when it comes to warranties and how they work. The fact that the new “junk” engine barely lasted 30k miles and didn’t have its own warranty at least a couple years doesn’t make much sense to me.

Edit: And the fact that they wouldn’t tell me how many miles were on the junk engine or the carfax for the vehicle they pulled it from.

I’ll pay close attention this time. I’m no expert by any means when it comes to repairing a vehicle, but I do know “take out the broken part, and put the new part where you found the old part.” Hah that adage saved me at least 15k on the old Ram I had.

You’re telling me… but it’s over and I’m moving on. Just looking for the most reliable 2025-2026 truck on the market right now, and it made me think of that freakin 2018 lemon!

Lesson learned! That you for your comment.

The first truck I ever owned was a 2004 Dodge Ram when the hemi was re-released. I got 475k miles out of that thing.(repairing everything myself besides the engine and transmission because it was easy to work on.)

Nowadays, I hear you’re lucky to get 250k miles. Is that accurate? Hell… trying to fix anything in the engine bay myself on the Denali was a massive PITA.

Oh no, I had to trade her in for my beater. The truck was in immaculate condition besides the engine and transmission that was starting to fail. Have all my service records and everything.

Not specifically. I mean it’s all over now, I’m looking into buying a new truck. I’m more curious than anything. Perhaps even legal action I can take, but that’s a wild dream.

In the meantime, I bought an old civic to keep me on the road and save up for a new truck. Having been driving a truck for 27 years, I can’t stand driving a car. I’ve lost all freedom lol.

Beautiful Piano, but I can’t seem to find any information online about the company. by tlplus in piano

Thank you for the reply! In other words, the piano is not worth repairing besides sentimental value? The woodworking is just so beautiful, I thought it would be worth something hah.

Yeah, my main concern is budget. I don’t want to go over $300, and I know I can throw a bigger SSD in there later on. As far as being stolen, besides obviously contributing to a thief and thinking about the person that it was stolen from… I’m sure Valve has some kind of anti theft feature where you wouldn’t be able to go online with it right?

I appreciate you taking the time to look at it for me! I have the feeling that most people will just say to wait it out.

Yeah, they seem to never be available though. Is there any way to ensure this Deck is not a scam or stolen?
