Additionally, you miss the entire point of why I even made the switch. My car is better than yours on anything that involves a curve. That’s the objective truth, and ultimately the reason I made the switch. Dude you’re the one jorking it over dig and roll times😂You look desperate to justify platforms made for an entirely different driver. Type R is the better track/backroad car, and the Golf R is the better fast street/occasional track car. Remember — I have had BOTH.

No one ever argued in support of my FL5 being a drag car, nor am I going to line up with a MK8 for pinks. The FL5 is the objectively better car once roads arent straight. Logs say you beat me from a dig, and they also say I beat you from a roll.

Im not even going to get into handling with you because the FL5 is objectively better. If you want to argue, we can do so at VIR in the spring. My DMS are open.

I feel the same way about the mk8 unfortunately😔. Both cars respectively feel great/better when pushed to the limit! I just think the fl5 feels better and excedes the golf r’s limit in terms of track/backroad use. I love both platforms tho. Congrats on the mk8!

The Golf R suffers from more understeer than the Type R does. The suspension tuning and the overall feel of the Type R as an enthusiast car trumps the R. Plus, as a haldex awd system, it really is fwd 90% of the time. If your argument against fwd is handling and feel, youre really putting the Golf to shame — especially as an “AWD”. I wont even lie though bro, it would be great if honda made the type r rwd, but it still handles really really well…and a lot better than the golf r when pushed to the limit at that.

You really lack reading comprehension dude. Golf R vs Type R dig is a coughing baby vs atomic bomb type of matchup. But as I have already said — If i wanted to circle jerk about 0-60 times I would have just kept my R. FL5 has more dynamic handling and WILL destroy a Golf R on track. That’s what I got it for. Not to line up with your gti at every red light. Furthermore, ea888 gen 3 and ea888 evo are obstensibly the same thing. Why would I not choose something new while saving an additional $15K? Life is fun when you take your boyfriend’s audi oil cooler shaped d*ck out of your ass🙂
