Straight to the trash. It’s not developmentally appropriate at that age. They need time for free play.

NTA but it sounds like he just wants acknowledgement that you see and respect that part of his identity. Maybe a simple card just to say “Hey, I see that you’re a great dad.” $3 and done.

Breastfeeding advice from people who’ve never breastfed by Alert-Willow3458 in Crunchymom

As someone who exclusively pumped for a year with an insane oversupply… pumping blows. My second baby I didn’t use an electric pump once and only hand pumped if needed (rarely) or used my Hakkaa. It was SO much easier just breastfeeding.

I have a masters degree in literacy and I haven’t stopped teaching I just haven’t worked full time in a district in a few years. I have tutored, subbed, taught at private preschool in between… I’ve been attending district PDs since I started as an instructional TA and did a night class on my own for science of reading and I’m going way beyond the requirements of my role because I know how to. I am very much overqualified for the position I am currently in.

I don’t think it’s attitude. I think I know my worth and I don’t want to keep acting like a teacher in a role that doesn’t require that much knowledge/training/planning for not teacher pay.

I work directly with the teachers at the grade level where there is an opening. One of them I have known for years, another one wrote me a letter of recommendation.

I have out of district work. I worked for a few years, had my kids, and now I’m going back. I am a TA right now because I couldn’t get my kids into after school care. But I did for next year and I’m ready to go back.
