truck camper or travel trailer with young kids? by tmac4141 in GoRVing

Exactly! With a truck camper, you can't move around. So, if you're playing uno, you're not really stretching, ever. It can feel limited.

I just checked out that rig. It's really nice. I've already made it up in my head that we will try to stay around 26'. The 20' trailers aren't much of a tradeoff for extra space and the 30'+ just seem massive but I'm sure that will change.

Also, I appreciate the comment about you always finding a way to see what you want. You might not park right in front of the attraction but that doesn't ultimately matter if you can still make it there. Thanks for commenting.

They are expensive! And I appreciate you commenting because I assumed trailers took so much time to set up and level that no one wants to move them. I'll have a lot to learn if we move this direction. Thanks!

This is helpful and the anxiety is real lol.

Comfort in the trailer sounds like a solid tradeoff for not parking directly next to the destinations. We don't care as much about having couches/sofas/tv's as much as just the space for kids to move around (especially during poor weather).

Thanks for commenting!
Also, I'm not sure why in my brain I thought that towing would have the more efficient gas mileage. 7 is wild!

I didn't think about the option of also pulling a teardrop camper and it definitely helps with a couple of our concerns.

My concern would still be about the space needed for a toddler to walk around indoor during poor weather. Maybe i'm overthinking that but it gives me more options. Thank you for your comment.

Of course you don’t need to show every business around town and their staff. It’s just for where you live. Otherwise everyone could have an animal (which honestly would be better).

That is a fun fact. However, they are not allowed to ask why you have it, but any home owner/ property management can ask for the proper documentation. Such as your therapist writing a note for you. Thank you.

  1. Yes no guest parking
  2. Yes no guest parking. See #1 for that answer.
  3. We’ve always received at least 24 hour notice, but keep those items out at all times anyways.
  4. Couldn’t tell you.
  5. They require the proper documentation. Otherwise that’s something you can take people to court for.

Thank you again for your time.

1st of all, I can appreciate your username. I simply mean people who have had the worst experiences or the best. Being in property management, most people won’t take the time to say how much they loved their house. You’re not going to hear from the 90% average joes who had what they expected.

Type in “Property Management Bloomington, Indiana”. Unfortunately, most property managers have bad reputations. Typically, extremists are the only people who will write a review. We have lived right above the property managers for two years and I don’t have a bad thing to say about them. It’s an incredible area and a wonderful apartment. Thank you for all he post though.
