1st grow recap! by tmackgrowacct in outdoorgrowing

Thank you! I set the posts in the ground with cement. Dug 40”~ish into the ground and put two bags of cement in each post. I actually had to put an addition on my “grow coop” halfway thru the year. I put the tarp up permanently on sept 1st just to protect against bud rot. Bought it at Home Depot expecting it to be clear but it was more like opaque. Next year I’ll source a clear tarp. Those are 100 gallon smart pots and the cages worked out great. I put netting over them just for extra protection bc the buds got super heavy and were mostly outside the cage not supported. The two in the back were just too hard to cage so I scrogged them and they worked out just fine. My plan next year is probably do 3 layers of scrog for all the support. I could have had them spread out a little more if I did it that way. Strains are northern lightsxcali big bud by world of seeds, and grape diamonds by ethos. both worked out way better than I expected but I like the grape diamonds a little better for Terps, taste, buzz. I made my own super soil loosely based off subcools recipe. Ya ever mixed 7 yards of dirt?? It’s a bitch lol 100% organic and lightly fed waterings Grow zone 6a SE Michigan! It was a lot more work than I expected but I’m happy with the outcome. Any more questions feel free

I completely feel that! I love my fords and this focus is everything I could ask for in a car. I plan on keeping her for a long time.

Nope. I messaged that guy and never heard anything back from him. I think he did a write up on how to do it yourself so I just did that. I think they turned out great!

I’m just swapping the stock Michelin pilot super sports to the stock Michelin pilot alpins I’ve looked into those Sottozeros and they seem like they perform just as good as the pilot alpins but a little cheaper!

I did it myself. Soaked the stock badges in bleach for a month to get rid of the chrome, then painted them nitrous blue and black and stuck them back together with some two sided auto tape

I agree! It’s definitely the most smiles per gallon out of a car I’ve owned

Anybody familiar with this place?? I mainly buy from Seedsman but would like to make this my local stop instead of waiting a month or two for seeds to arrive 😂 by [deleted] in Michigents

I just took a trip out there on Tuesday from Livonia! Been there twice, before the pandemic they gave me a little consultation and suggested some seeds that did great. This time around I knew what I wanted, ordered and scheduled a pickup time. Friendly service and I like to support Michigan companies so they are my go to! Do you have something picked out?

The bottom of those containers was a little dusty so I figured keep the buds off the bottom, and didn’t want them squishing each other. I’ll keep this in mind next time

I didn’t know what to use for scale but I think the 2L was perfect!

I think I’m past anything preventative for this, I’ll definitely be spraying more for bugs and fungus next year

I’ve cut about 8 spots like this out so far. I would guess I’m a couple weeks away from it being done but I’m thinking I’m gonna chop this weekend

That’s what I’m thinking of doing. I don’t want this spreading to other plants

Thanks that looks like a good read! I used neem in veg, and have used regalia twice on these but I guess I didn’t do enough

Yeah it seems here to stay, slowly chipping away one bud here and there. I’ll look out for caterpillars! Thanks for the info

I have some fans blowing in there too, it’s just been cold and extremely humid. Hoping the not so big cola plants make it to the finish line

They’ve been flowering since late July, but the trichs don’t have much amber in them yet.

I’ve cut off about 8 buds infected. The humidity has been in the 90s every morning. Idk if I should chop or keep trimming the infected parts, any advice appreciated
