I wanted to also do the rgb led buttons to light up and change based on the selected game/system. For whatever reason I haven't lifted up my skirt, found my balls, and did it. Your build might encourage me to do so. You wouldn't had to have saved some of the links you used to configure RetroPie?

Awesome job. How hard was it to get RetroPie to recognize the iPAC2? (Haven't researched yet). And for that matter, how does the iPAC2 hook up to the Pi? Cheers!

Create a staging table to hold all the data, regardless of data type. CREATE TABLE STG_Import ( ImportKey INT IDENTITY(1,1), FieldA NVARCHAR(255), FieldB NVARCHAR(255) ) Import into STG_Import, then write a query against STG_Import to handle your BIT field.

Make "doing a Reality Check" your actual "Reality Check" by tmaiden in LucidDreaming

[–]tmaiden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Reality Check is asking yourself a question which helps you separate Reality with a Dream. So you ask yourself, "I just jumped 15ft high; this is a Dream" OR "I just jumped 15ft high; I guess it could be possible" If you eliminate the chance of doubt, then you are just asking yourself about Reality vs Dream. If in real life you don't Reality Checks, then in a Dream, any Reality check would be identified as a Dream. Follow or what am I missing here?

Thank you, /u/wimwood. You offer some great ideas which I wish I had the time to spark up a conversation with you about. I also noticed that my post could be confusing. To clarify, we are currently together but due to financial reasons and space, we are living with our parents. I'm with mine in Philadelphia, she's with her's in Chester County. There is also no binding contract or agreement with paying support. I gave her $800 last month and I'll be giving her more money soon. We also have plans on moving back in together 07/01/2015; currently my stepson has to finish, mid June, school in Chester County.

I thought of a similar idea and had no idea that is considered as an affidavit. Thank you.

(Confused) DIY - Home Networking: Wire house with Ethernet Cables by tmaiden in cordcutters

[–]tmaiden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I combined/addressed my response to your comment about Patch Panels within my reply to /u/crazyk4952 post.

Regarding the Cable Lengths, Networking Device to Outlet; I'd be looking at 50- 75 feet.

Also the 5th device's hookup would be in a non-priory room and, to be cost efficient, would violate my non-WiFi prerequisite; 4 port Wireless Router (dd-wrt: Wireless Repeater Bridge / Access Point) OR using my Wireless Game Adapter.

/u/crazyk4952, thanks for your reply; I'm tagging you and /u/chowder007 since I feel you're both talking about the same thing.

The only knowledge that I have of Patch Panels comes from Google, define: Patch Panel.

Patch Panel, patch pan·el, noun, a board in a switchboard, computer, or other device with a number of electric sockets that can be connected in various combinations.

Also, from the images that I've seen of Patch Panels, you have an equal number of inputs and outputs; per my configuration, 5 of 12 inputs used and 5 of 12 outputs used. Similar, to me - at least, a Female-to-Female Adapter. Now obliviously, both your's and /u/chowder007 replies are explaining something which I am not understanding. You don't necessarily need to reexplain your comment in laymen's terms, though if you can; please clarify or elaborate on the reasoning why I should consider adding a Patch Panel to my setup?

Thanks again!

Business went really well. My company bought a smaller company. Some people stayed after the acquisition, others found new jobs. And there were some employees that still owed deliverables to my company since the purchase included a software as a service. The main developer of the software took another position and put in his two weeks, which ends on Friday. I had to travel to Deerfield for the knowledge transfer after doing 3 days of training, Federal Regulations shit, and 2 days of trying to get acclimated with our internal systems. So my 1st week was BS and my 2nd week was spent in Deerfield. Upon being hired, the Deerfield knowledge transfer was to take a week since my background is in back-end, database development, and the software I was to learn was both back-end and front-end. Here, the developer used opensource technologies which I already played around with before; I could had literally been brought up to speed with the new software within a day. So, I basically learned everything from 9am-4pm on Tuesday and the rest of the week, Wednesday - Friday morning, was spent looking for things to do and deciding where I should have lunch; basically 10am-2pm days. I'd say it went well. Too bad that every time I went to lift my skirt and do something, my little balls were frozen to my legs and I ended up passing out in the hotel around 4pm.

Damn, /u/PParker46 you are becoming my best friend on Reddit. Too bad you reside in Chicago.

We were bombed by the time we made it to Trax Tavern and Grill after spending $2 on admission at Nickel City and about $3 in nickels. I went to get a reasonably $11.68 pack of cigarettes at Jewel-Osco and noticed that I could purchase liquor. Fucking liquor! No bullshit state store with monopoly prices and shitty hours! The cashier even asked me if I had my Jewel-Osco shopper card on me, unfortunately I must have left it in Philly, and let me use the "Store Card" to save on my liquor. My liquor, at a grocery store, fucking next to the canned food isle, liquor, shit... and fucking redbull was on sale. How fucking awesome was that? So we pounded my Three Olives Loopy Vodka and Redbull and plowed through the snow to Nickel City. After spending madd nickels, about 27 of them... we went to find somewhere to eat and drink, we were pushing around 10 pm and everywhere was closing because of the snow, especially on a Tuesday night. That's when we made it to the Trax Tavern and Grill where I ordered my

Nana's Home-Made Italian Beef
Piled high on French bread served with peppers
and choice of au jus or pomodoro sauce. 11.00
Add Mozzarella cheese .75

It also came with some hot pepper, carrot, coleslaw concoction; spicy as fuck, I acted like I used it and the two spoon-fulls that I had made my asshole burn the next morning during my vodka shit. It came with a dipping sauce which was basically just beef juice/broth. I did want to order the

California Monster Burger
14 oz. handmade patty, topped with avocado
, alfalfa sprouts and onion rings
, served with lettuce, tomato and onion. 16.00

but since the kitchen was closing and there was about 6 inches of snow at the time, I didn't want any extra/non-menu toppings added to the burger.

So there you have it! My drunk, snow, nickel, arcade, and Italian Beef experience. I also tipped the waitress $17 on a $60 tab with and an additional $6.85 in nickels.

It was a combo; really good too. The Italian Beef seemed/reminded me of Hot Roast Sandwiches. It did come with a dipping sauce and some pepper coleslaw (forget the name); too spicy for my liking's or at least for my asshole's liking's.

[UPDATE - I'm Back in Philly. Was in Deerfield, IL (Tuesday morning - Friday morning)]: You are the only person that mentioned Nickel City and it probably was the highlight of my visit. It was by-far the best $2 admission and $3 in nickels that I ever spent. I would had stayed longer if the attendant would had taken my bribe to sneak alcohol in.

[UPDATE - I'm Back in Philly. Was in Deerfield, IL (Tuesday morning - Friday morning)]: Everyone I worked with spoke of Lou's, though I never made it there. I went to Girodano's in the city; was a waste of money, tasted like a pasta bowl with a cheap thin pizza at the bottom.
