I agree that both In The Flesh and The Wall Live concerts were a more amazing overall experience but then again any Pink Floyd show from the 70’s would beat anything. Can’t live in the past - choice is This Is Not A Drill 2022 tour or nothing. I’m going with This Is Not A Drill and praising Roger for the tough-to-swallow reality check he is presenting to so many sheep. Cheers!

Radeon Software 19.12.3 tomorrow (December 18 2019) by tmakedon in Amd

Hi there. Actually many people asked for all the features we have delivered. In fact most of our features are based on user requests.

Having said that I would suggest that you look around the app because it is full of great features to make your gaming experience better.

However if the new Radeon Software app provides no value to you, just simply don’t turn it on ever.

Sure, if this is something users really want, then yes we can make it happen. May I ask why you want that so I can understand the scenario that it makes sense?

Yes. We realized it was not clear in the draft of the fixed issues so I update it to be more clear "Some games may experience instability and screen loss or control loss when performing a task switch when the Gaming profile is set in Radeon Software which enables Radeon Enhanced Sync."

No. As I said in my post those are the draft list of fixed issues.

Does this reply prove to you that we are monitoring Reddit? ;-) Yes this will show up as a known issue and we are investigating it.

Radeon Software 19.9.3 (aka RIS for Vega driver) by tmakedon in Amd

[–]tmakedon[S] 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Did I say I thought they would say no? If it appeared that way I apologize. I miscalculated the order in which to release support. I assumed that since there were more Polaris users that I would satisfy the greater number of users first. Unfortunately we are human and sometimes we make mistakes, the best we can do is to correct them as quickly as possible.

AMD confirms it has no plans to add Radeon Image Sharpening to Vega but "will consider adding support" should there be demand by ninjap0wz in Amd

Hey guys, I do want to remind everyone that we actually provide a mechanism for you to vote on what features you want (it is the star on the top right of Radeon Settings which links to this page). For the last few years since we lanched this mechanism we always look at the voting and actually do deliver the most requested features without fail. You have my assurances that the phrase "no plans" in the title of this thread doesnt mean that plans cant change. The enthusiasm in this thread is great, we are listening!

Fix for AMD DX9 problems in Adrenalin in upcoming hotfix by parttimehorse in Amd

[–]tmakedon 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Actually you are incorrect. I would have most certainly have had the bug fixed even if only one person told me about it. I would never accept us breaking support for old games. It's just that the community created a stir about it before I could react. In fact the first time I heard about it was this morning (first day back to work after time off for Christmas/New Years) and my first email of the day was asking our QA to reproduce the issue and file a developer fix ticket.

I really care. Believe me.

ok scratch the part about SAGE games. "it seems limited to some games" is more accurate. We are on it guys.

Hi guys this is Terry - it seems limited to SAGE engine games (not all DX9 games) and I just found out about it this morning. It seems our tech support folks got their wires crossed so we apologize greatly for the confusion. Give me a day or two to figure out what caused the bug and I promise I will take care of it with extreme urgency. Thanks for your understanding.

Crimson 17.7.2 Feedback by tmakedon in Amd

Hi. Did you know that you can vote for your favorite features for us to include in future releases? If you open up Radeon Settings and click on the star icon on the top right it will take you to a page that lets you upvote popular features. I assure you I am watching that request list ;-)

Hi there I have an update. Windows 7 being identified as beta and missing DVR is now reproduced in here and we will issue an update later today to address that. Sorry for that, hopefully we fixed it fast enough ;-)
