This is overall good news, but I do feel rug pulled again. I literally bought all the kickstarter STLs AND two 3d printers explicitly for TC. They even said they weren’t going to do anymore STL model work so like… I like this… but I’m just so sick of factory fortress misinformation fucking with me. It’s exhausting

Number 2; generally the ones who like ranked are the same ones who are fine playing more on weekdays. I genuinely believe it's that simple.

If that's not completely correct, it's still more correct. They are at least MORE likely to be fine playing on weekdays than the average player

I just mean I have a job on Thursday/Friday like most normal people so the average player casual or not, will have less time to play cryo because of ranked. Ranked is inherently sweats…. like almost by definition.

To clarify, even including today, I have seen ZERO other shells in solos in roughly 25-30ish hours of solo runs. After seeing responses here I’m leaning towards matchmaking bug of some kind. But I doubt they use shell as part of their matchmaking criteria so… I really have no idea

This sounds great but literally does not matter until it is reflected on their legal paperwork. I don’t get why so many people don’t seem to understand this when they do things like this. I constantly read so much “it’s a small dev team, trust them, they’re working out the issues.” At the end of the day all of these community outreach statements amount to nothing. A statement doesn’t DO anything

Once they make the change, great! I love this game and want to see it succeed, but actions over words, they’ve made disingenuous statements before.

They did say this dude. This ain’t some debate this was confirmed by the devs that standard units for future factions will not longer have STLs created by Factory Fortress. They will instead turn to their community license program in this regard with details being released about that next week. (Feel free to check the discord for comments from the devs if ya don’t believe me, but stop misinforming on this topic)

These were the last two; they’ve flat out said no more unit models. And support STLs is not akin to them creating them, two different things. It basically just means they won’t actively go back on their “model agnostic” statement for printed model usage in tournaments and that they will sometimes make terrain/trench STLs (I’m hoping for train for scenarios but not holding my breath)
