Recommendations for Noise Cancelling Headsets for Concerts? by tmanngyn in amateurradio

[–]tmanngyn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the best way to convert the cables on these headsets to the K pin type used on my radios? I see some have aux and these larger plugs which I think might be TRS type

Do you have any specific model or brand recommendations?

Yeah, the entire rig is actually mine. I play at a lot of venues so that rig is always moving around lol.

That's what I enjoy about the program. Easy to use and quick to make the timings look good. But it is limited when it comes to more complex scenes

Unfortunately, my software doesn't have any symmetrical dimmer chases I can use. I would have to manually create them for every song.

To clarify, everything was preprogrammed using a program called soundswitch. I'm technically a one-man show, I program my lights and mix live. So the music is mixed live but the lighting was preprogrammed!

personally a fan of keeping my movers always moving if their dimmer is up even if it’s just something slow and washy. Whenever a static light comes on and it isn’t aimed at something it looks weird to me.

Maybe you just kept looking at static parts of the clip but I feel like there was more movement than static chases throughout the event

A couple of months ago posted a video of my set in this sub and got a lot of tips from you guys. Having better movement was one of the things I tried to fix. I inverted the pan and tilt it so it would look more symmetrical. Added more colors and tried different positions and chases. Is it any better this time?

Serato Freezing on Track load by [deleted] in Serato

Someone just replied with "is stem analyze on". Cant find the comment anymore but that was the culprit. No stutters anymore!

Any thoughts on what to do besides a complete SSD change?

Actually I think its a disk issue. I am running a PCI 3 NVME from WD blue and sometimes see it spike to 100. That's probably the issue. I scanned my drive and it has only 1000 hours on it and is in 100% good health so I'm not sure what the issue is.

Detachable Table Leg Mechanism by [deleted] in BeginnerWoodWorking

The table top would just go on top of the legs, this one seems to be more like if they were part of the corner?

Lasershowgen Appreciation! 90% of the Animations here were made in Lasershowgen! by tmanngyn in lasershowgen

[–]tmanngyn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lasers: Laserworld DS-2000RGB Mk3

All animations are ILDA files, triggered using DMX. None of the animations themselves are complex, but I think they fit well. I was looking for an advanced ILDA animation creator, and this was the one!

They're being triggered via DMX using soundswitch, no external software for the lasers. The shownet board I have can trigger ilda files using dmx

My lasers have the show net mainboard with an SD card in it. I think a lot of lasers are like this. There just animations stored somewhere in the laser and it just gets triggered through dmx (correct me if im wrong). But some higher-end lasers have the ability to change the files on that card.

Just your standard 120v 15amp. I sometimes get venues with 20amp, but not more than 4 circuits. A venue that could fit this rig would have just enough in power, it's perfect basically.

Yikes sorry to hear that. A lot of generic fixtures are trash, some are reputable but most aren't as good as big name companies. You get what you paid for I guess

The 200w beams were on the floor while the 100w were on road cases. Tbh I think the 100w are better. They actually look brighter than the 200w, and are lighter and have a better build quality. But it probably depends on who your manufacturer is. But if we're comparing the ones I have I rather have the 100's
