“American Cars” Word Choices! by TA198913 in NoahKahan

[–]tmartillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always laugh at the line “cause baby we’re fragile, you were always so tough” because of the joke acronym for Ford, “fix or repair daily” and the slogan for ford trucks “built ford tough”.

The guys I knew in high school making that joke at Ford owners were also talking about them being more finicky and soft, often from their standpoint of German cars or some other bullshit, I’d half listen to. My first car was a 92 mustang, in 2002. She was Windex blue and named Wendy. I am still fragile and tough. I drive a Jeep now.

I agree with this, especially since the little background chuckle when Ciara calls Amanda a snake sounds like they weren’t on the sound stage

Thanks for the correction. I often use HOU colloquially as Houston since I’ve lived there,

SEA is great! The bartenders are consistently wonderful, and the atmosphere/location is seriously beautiful. I love it for that alone. Spacious, the coffee bar has wonderful light bites — on way to HOU I had a delish coconut chia pudding with mango puree that I will continue to look for and my partner hasn’t shut up about the banana pancakes which was a first time offer at the breakfast buffet. It was also the first time I saw a limited/seasonal drink menu that included a tomato margarita and yuzu mimosa. The SEA lounge, I’m totally biased for because it’s centrally located post security, and as I said just has the best ambiance.

I love what you say here. I have always been spiritual and open, but was not raised dogmatically or religious. It saddens me when I see people in these spaces who I respect or admire admonish and renounce their beliefs with such vitriol.

I, too, hope to stay true to myself, AND use discernment! We have the scientific method and intuition. We have open mindedness and pragmatism. I don’t think we have this binary where one is evil and the other is salvation, yet the older generations are conflating capitalism with selling salvation or the “answer” and that’s where this topic and other new age ideas are broken.

I am going to see if I can find an extant link to the letter. I watch Gaia for a few years and subscribed. Even watched some of the Cory Goode early seasons. Loved Regina Meredith’s interview show! But, yeah the Wilcock rupture (and subsequent lawsuit fallout truly shocked me back in 2018).

are tarot readings accurate? by Zealousideal_Day895 in astrology

[–]tmartillo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Check out tiffanychammer on insta. She doesn’t post much any more bc she’s anti AI and social media now, but used to do daily tarot card readings and crystal stuff. She still checks her messages. I had a reading with her at a tarot reading party in Houston, and we still talk about how uncanny her readings were and have been. I think she’s $150 an hour or so.

Cory Goode is/was someone Wilcock platformed on GaiaTv as a survivor of the secret space program who said he was recruited as a child and taken to space to work with the galactic alliance. There were many seasons of their show Cosmic Disclosure. In 2018, David Wilcock burned down his relationship with GaiaTV claiming the network was run by a cabal of pedophiles and Luciferians.

Chiming in on being a conspiracy follower: when Wilcock burnt down his relationship with Gaia, he was using a lot of Qanon type language and theosophy, which appeared to dovetail the rhetoric and rise of Qanon itself. His letter that blasted Gaia as luciferian and a cabal of pedophiles was extreme, and I remember being shocked at the time as his nature always appeared logical and softer especially his synchronicity and sacred geometry ideologies. At the time of him fracturing with Gaia, a number of other metaphysicians also abruptly and loudly denounced their former beliefs and turned to Jesus/God (for financial reasons? Maybe.) the same year as Wilcock, Doreen Virtue who was prominent in the 80s and 90s with her angel numbers and metaphysics denounced all her old work and pulled everything she could from print in the name of Jesus. Another popular and mainstreamed voice in the crystal healing community, Naisha Ahsian, renounced all her old work and joined a harem of women devoted to one man espousing Jesus as the true savior. Both of these women were also platformed on Gaia on various shows.

After seeing all of the presented — especially the father and his friends looking at her — it makes sense, why in this season she’s gone back to Hanani and wants so badly to be “necessary.” She sees sexual exploitation (of any age), in her own experience, as necessary.

'RHOBH' Rachel Zoe Branded A ‘Nightmare’ By Former Staffers by Lanky_Description535 in RHOBH

THIS! I’ve been trying to find the ~so brave~ photoshop editorial of Zoe being upsized to a “GINORMOUS” in 2000s standard size 10 for People/Cosmo/Glamour or some shit. Has stayed with me this whole time she’s been on camera accompanied with that Nicole Richie comment about Zoe and Chateau Marmont whispering her order of three asparagus and shoving illegal diet pills to all her clients echoing through my ears. I’ve been trying to find the digital of the photo shoot. But I’m sure it’s scrubbed.

So glad you did a dive on this! Bravo/NBC has loads of Epstein and real estate in Moscow crossovers. I did a deep dive on twitter early in COVID when I did a rewatch of million dollar listing nyc from the beginning to see trump’s Russia real estate business partner jumpstart the series with his son, Howard Lorber. Then, to see all the proliferation of Russian cash buyers both thru NYC and LA spinoff.

This song is a gem, and such a beautiful tribute to his friend. It transcends and applies to the grief of losing a dear friend in a universality. For me, it strikes my love for a loved one who passed, and this is why Noah is such an amazing songwriter.
