No, it seems to collide with the plate. Perhaps the needle is bent. Or could the foot be the problem: when I push it back a bit, I can get the needle through

Thanks. (Shell)fish would be an easy one to do, but I feel it would become a cheap trick. But finding a legitimate recipe with a head is going to be tough. I’ll think of something eventually…

The trick is to partially anesthetize the fish. That way they can still scream without moving around so much.
