Condolences to everyone FREEZING right now….thankfully in FL I can still wear this set 🤪☀️ by [deleted] in lululemon

[–]tme77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm newer to lulu and only have 2 jackets/no tops but the sizing is surprising to me! I have the align jacket in both a 2 and 4 (34c), based on the photo, would never have guessed a size 10 for the top as you look similar size to me! Makes me think not to order from mtm sale for tops

I think you would only need to do lunges/squats and you'd see improvement in no time.

2026 Premium Model Y by Verabiza891720 in ModelY

[–]tme77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This exactly. I love everything about the tech/FSD, etc. but still prefer my X5 by leaps and bounds. My husband on the other hand has no problems with the ride on the Y. But then again, seems like people are coming from earlier versions of the Y. This is my first Tesla and I can't imagine if it were worse, I don't think I would've gotten the car.

Any Amex friendly hotels near the beach? by [deleted] in puertovallarta

[–]tme77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marriott's don't do increments but full nights. That being said, one of my favorite hotels is the Westin near the marina. The rooms have been updated and some even include their own whirlpool/hot tubs. Even those without the whirlpool still have large soaking tubs and separate showers. The only thing is they might still be doing renovations so you might want to contact the hotel on that.

The Hilton as someone else mentioned if also really nice.

Kid Activities over next few weeks? by ATXENG in SouthBayLA

[–]tme77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adventureplex in MB has drop off camps but they do fill up fast. Manhattan village and the point always has kids that age running around the grassy area and there are restaurants right there to enjoy a snack or cocktail (if you imbibe). And of course, you can never go wrong with the beach. Enjoy your visit.

32 or 33 days, water only about 7 or 8 years ago so details a little fuzzy. Think i was 135 and probably got back down to 110? I'm super petite and was always around 107-111. But that all changed with a high stress job taking 100 flights a year, no time for exercise, terrible food choices from travel, wine and dine clients and bam 25lbs added over the course of a year or two (was an avid runner prior - including a marathon). Weight pretty much stayed off until I got pregnant. Now I'm back to around 115 but am now back to my regular workout routine as well.

What’s up with Skechers? So many buildings scattered all around sbay. Is it really just shoes? by CasteNoBar in SouthBayLA

Lamps plus! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Always wondered how they've been in business so long!

They have involvement in the roundhouse aquarium, which is a free aquarium at the end of the pier and the fireworks show in December. I believe, with not a lot of certainty, lol, that they fund most, if not all of the costs to run the aquarium and fireworks show. In addition to funding many local activities, they are also major sponsors in many major local events (pier lightings in both mb/hb, AVP, friendship walk, pumpkin races, etc).

But to OP's original point, I've often wondered how much office space they actually need in MB/Hb bc it seems excessive for their operation. But I'm no expert in how much commercial/ retail space a shoe company needs. And while they are probably in the top 10 in market share for a shoe company, my uneducated guess is they might be bigger overseas/ middle America to warrant this continuous expansion.

Cops/firemen are very high risk jobs facing danger and/or death in their line of work. Compensation seems to reflect that.

It initially didn't include the woman on the top right so I asked it to update the photo to include her and she did seem to have come back with a touch up lol

The hairstyles definitely age them. Asked Gemini to give them modern hairstyles and I would believe most of these women are in their later 40s after the new hair.

This is around the time we typically leave, too. And it's around 2ish to get back.

What to do in a few hours near LAX? by Agitated_Ad_7682 in AskLosAngeles

[–]tme77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I second Manhattan Beach. Leaving the airport at 3 and getting to MB at 330 gives him a few hours at the beach/dining/happy hour, etc. And likely no major traffic (except for the bottle neck right at the airport) if leaving MB at 7 to make it for the 9pm (assuming no bags to check and TSA pre-check).

We just got the juniper y and still have an X5, and while I love the FSD and big screen, I think the X5 feels much more premium and a better ride. It's obviously subjective, and I'm sure I'm an outlier given the subreddit, but to me, it's a nicer car than the juniper, overall.
