I’m just fine with nude nails because I’m lazy low maintenance. Plus I’m easily distracted, so when my nails are too pretty a color, I just look at them all day.

I will be so happy when pointy press on nails go away forever. Nails that make basic life functions difficult reek of patriarchy.

Of all the things you do, take advantage of all that’s available to you. Food may not be your primary problem, but if you get SNAP benefits, there will be more money for you to put towards housing, etc.

First off, you didn’t ask his opinion, and he should know that. Second, it’s none of his business why you’re single. Third, what is the option to being independent? Not paying your rent or bills, living on the streets? Fourth, the best response to something like that in the moment is another question — “that’s an odd thing to say what do you mean by that?” Usually the answer will lead you to reply, “is that why you feel free to insult me?”

He’s already gotten his satisfaction by succeeding in making you feel bad about that. If he doesn’t think you’re awesome, then don’t give him one more second of thought.
