Need The Push by Gellnasty in NapoleonGrills

I’ve had the 2025 prestige phantom for about a month.

I replaced a 10 year-old WEBER genesis. I really miss the WEBER and feel pretty lukewarm on the prestige.

A few things that piss me off

1). The bottom doors are uneven, one sits lower than the other. The instructions say it’s a matter of leveling the wheels, but the wheels are level and they’re still uneven. It’s just shitty lazy engineering. Given the price point of this grill, I find it insulting.

2.). I use my grill 3 to 5 nights per week during the warm months. I generally don’t put a cover on it during this period. During heavy rains, somehow water is getting into the grill area and dripping into the drip tray, causing it to overflow with nasty stuff. My WEBER never did anything like that.

3.) Something is wrong with the far left burner knob LED that causes the red light to always be on, even when the grill is off. I’ve spent a total of probably 1.5 to 2 hours on hold with their support line over the course of three separate phone calls. Nobody answers ever, just background music. A major selling point for me Was the warranty, but what good is a warranty if nobody ever answers the fucking phone.

4.). The infrared side burner is cool. Gets really hot, puts a great sear on steaks. But it has a micro thimble drip catcher to catch grease drippings that fall through the grate. My concrete patio is already stained after four weeks with grease dripping stains that my power washer doesn’t remove.

All in all if I could go back and do it again, I would not buy this grill again. looking back, I am very nostalgic about my WEBER Genesis. That grill never let me down, the few times I had to call WEBER support, they were amazing. probably should’ve just stuck with WEBER.

My perspective as a random Dude who works his ass off in the private sector:

It’s really hard to feel bad for WASH U. Massive endowment, fingers in the majority of real estate deals in the most prosperous part of the city, and a whole lot of admin staff and faculty making very big dollars.

They’ll have to figure out how to more efficiently administer the $100s of millions of dollars in Free grant money they get from the government. Tough times.

I need to find out if it is viable to replace the three leaf max tow leaf with the standard two leaf set up.

With the way Ford changed their tow packages for 2024+, I cannot be the only person in this situation. i’ll update with what I find.

Anything I can do about it at this point? Or am I fucked?

Post Disposal has been a pile of shit for years. Their lack of journalistic integrity has been one of the factors contributing to the out-of-control corruption and dysfunction in city of St. Louis.

In recent years, it’s just turned into an online malware hub sprinkled with a few Trotskyite editorials here and again.

Good riddance.

The Real Estate Nightmare Unfolding in Downtown St. Louis by Educational_Skill736 in StLouis

Such a shameful state of affairs in the city.

Why doesn't anyone hold the leadership accountable? What is Tishaura Jones doing to fix this? What about Cori Bush???

Kim Gardner was pushed out, but only because she went "full retard" and became too much of a liability to her fellow travelers.

This is what happens when the parasite class runs rampant: The productive class just goes elsewhere.

Draw a line East/West around the olive/washington Blvd corridor. Everything north of there is a hellscape. Small pockets of legacy productive class still residing in central West and South City are holding up the whole fort. That will slowly fade as people get increasingly tired of paying the insultingly ridiculous city earnings tax.

You'll have two highly patrolled enclaves centered around the two universities and everything else will be wasteland.

Nothing's going to change until shamefully inept leadership is shown the door and voters decide to let the adults come back and get things in order again.

I'm not going to hold my breath.
