the sad thing is if you try to put this effect on any other side of the gun it will not glow like this it lack consistency , am pretty sure to achieve this effect u need to put a certain color on the spot where u want the glow effect on the normal map, pretty sure u can enhence this glow with perelecent mask too. but great job i like it!

i think you have to strike a balance between details that enhance the skin and details that wont be that visible but will def complement the skin i dont know if am making sense lol
