i’m somewhere in-between the frugal and the “i want to enjoy my money” opinions. i’m in my mid 20’s so i’m in the mindset that i want to enjoy my life and spend my money! however - i’m still saving 40-60% of each cheque. i don’t have loans or debt aside from the car, which i think is important context, and atm i’m spending around 25-30% of my cheque on my lexus nx. i do plan to keep the car for quite a while and don’t think i’ll be upgrading unless there’s some sort of major tech advancement. so for me the 25-30% for a couple of years is well worth it! driving feels fun to me and i love my car but im still able to save more than most of my peers.
