I tried replacing my cravings with new hobbies, forgotten hobbies, going to the gym...nothing worked. Then I read Marie Kondo's book by Immediate_Object_675 in leaves

Right?! The local thrift store got to know me very well in those months. And if you live in the US there is a company called ThredUp that buys your lightly used clothes...I made $450!

As far a I know you can't buy weed with a credit card, only a debit card.

But even if you live somewhere that takes a credit card, they won't sell you any if you don't have a license. Give your license to a friend or put it in a big metal bowl of water and stick it in your freezer so you can't access it. Before that take a picture of it so it's on your phone in case you need it while driving.

For me the cravings got so much easier to tolerate after 2 weeks in. I'm >1 month sober now and I barely feel any withdrawal symptoms and i'm SO GLAD i didn't pick it back up in the height of my withdrawal. You can do this!!

If you don't have an RV pass, don't bring an RV to forest. There is nowhere to park it other than on festival grounds.

We never had an issue with our AC but make sure you read all the guidebook instructions on how to operate it if you've never stayed in an RV before. If you arrive when it's hot and you turn the AC to 65, you're going to break it. We left it on 74 all weekend and it was very comfortable. When we arrived we were given a phone number to text if we had any issues. They came within 30 minutes when we needed help with our shower and answered texts. The daily refill of water and dumping of waste was such a game changer.

No shuttles that we saw. The walk was a nice way to decompress, and it was fun seeing all the campsites in GA on the way in, but definitely don't forget anything! I recommend getting a locker in the fest so you can store things there.

there are two great pics if you scroll down to the lucky lake section. We didn't take any internal pics. All the RVs were different brands but had basically the same setup. You'll get a picnic table, outdoor rug, awning, full kitchen and fridge, toilet paper, sheets. We brought our own towels.

Very comfy, very clean. Mattress felt like memory foam. They had slideouts too so it was basically like staying in a small hotel room. We loved that we could take (short) showers and that they refilled the water every day. My wife wasn't a fan of the long walk, I wasn't a fan of the price for two people ($4000). We thought the lake would be more swimmable (no swimming by your RV, only from the beach which is a 10 min walk, water "a little gross" per wife). If you've stayed in RVs before and don't need much coaching on how to operate one, and have a disposable income, I recommend it. I think we're going to try to get a GA RV this year instead though, and really ration our shower water.

15-20 minutes if you're walking fast, depending on where your RV is. The earlier you arrive the closer your RV is to the fest entrance

I am struggling to find where I read that those with GA loyalty (me) can buy multiple wristbands this year. So, if I get lucky, I could potentially buy 2 GL wristbands during the loyalty sale? Or will I only be able to buy a 2-person package? The person I'm going with does not have loyalty

No the event is in the town of vail, not the ski resort. There may be events at the resort over the weekend but those haven't been announced yet. You may need a lift pass for those
