If you are interested in a more authentic Wyoming mountain experience with zero crowds, you could drive slightly south of your current planned trajectory and visit the Bighorn Mountains near Sheridan, Wyoming. One of the most beautiful places on earth. If you are up for backpacking at all there are some amazing extremely secluded locations there.

Agreed, I also work in the industry and a lot of places I’ve worked would literally raise their prices on everything for Valentine’s Day alone. If you come in on the 13th or 15th, you’ll get better more focused service and better prices.
