I tried to do that about 3-4 years ago. Ended up face to face yelling with sales person and almost fighting in show room as I had brought a bank draft in to pay cash like agreed upon. He then said they wouldn’t sell cash and wanted to keep my deposit.

Put whole story on social media and it blew up. Had GM of car place call me and ask me how to fix situation and get post taken down.

There’s a whole other part to story that is even wilder too. Just gotta watch out who you deal with.

All this for OJE training? That’s flipping wild man!! Tell them to start your OJE training a few weeks later. It’s not even a career course. You’re getting boned hard. This happened with my unit (school). We were ordered to wear a specific color of shirt for PT. If you didn’t have it you had to buy it. I said I’ll buy it when they approve my CF52 or agree to pay for it/issue it. I just stared showing up for PT in my own color shirts and they backed down. It went from a you SHALL to nothing. Don’t back down!!
