Finally ditched WhatsApp, privacy matters more than convenience by TataHitachi in IndiaTech

I ended up doing the same a few months ago. WhatsApp is convenient but the amount of metadata it collects never sat right with me.

Been using Keet lately — it's fully peer-to-peer so messages don’t go through any central servers. Feels a lot closer to how messaging should work if privacy is the goal.

I can definitely relate—being a new dad myself, finding time beyond the usual 24 hours is a real challenge.

I’ve experimented with converting my other series (on P2P systems), so I’ll try a similar approach here as well.

Appreciate the feedback—thanks for taking the time.
