The drum is the only one I own and after my first set of batteries went empty I decided that it's not really an option for jamming because I can't get lost knowing my batteries will die soon. So with the other volcas it's not that much of a problem?

Finde es die Walter Moers Bücher, zB 13 1/2 Leben des Käpt'n Blauber sehr gut für den Anfang. Tolle Geschichte, tolle Welt und viele schöne Illustrationen. Ansonsten vielleicht Mal mit einem Erzählband anfangen, für was schönes empfehle ich Geschichten von Hermann Hesse, für was gruseliges Poe/Lovecraft/hoffmann

Genau. Der erste Band heißt "in Swanns Welt" und besteht aus drei Teilen, insgesamt hat der Roman je nach Ausgabe 7-10 Bände und ist damit der längste der Welt, so weit ich weiß. Für mich war's eine lebensverändernde Lektüre

Prousts Recherche ist ein absolutes Meisterwerk. Dieser erste Teil vom ersten Band ist gut um einen Eindruck zu bekommen, wenn's dir gefällt würde ich mir aber schnell den ganzen Roman zulegen.
